2026-01-19 09:20:33 +0000 UTCImagine my surprise when I first watched this to find out that a friend of mine who I went all through high-school, in the same class as, was the ref for the end fight. We grew up in a town close to Liverpool in the UK and he moved to Philly and got married. Years later he applied when they were asking for extras and somehow he wrangles lines as the ref for the finale.

They took the compelling character drama from the first 2 movies, added in beautiful cinematography for the fight scenes (that fight against, Leo, omg) and had plenty of nods to the original films that didnβt seem forced or gratuitous. In a era where we see studios constantly mess up sequels/reboots/spin offs, this is the rare one that they hit out of the park.
