I love this movie and I've seen it many times. I subscribed again just to watch it and listen to Cyndi Lauper's iconic song. Also it the first time I saw a Vietnamese person in an American film. This was before Steven Spielberg went very dark and started making 'serious' films. I miss that Steven Spielberg.

2025-12-25 07:18:59 +0000 UTCChi: "I rate it a Halloween movie." 😅 I remember when I first saw The Goonies, the movie really scared me. Especially the scenes with Sloth in his cell. But I was only about 8 years old then; later it became one of my favorite movies as I grew up. You can clearly see that Steven Spielberg wanted to make something like Indiana Jones for the younger generation, and I think he succeeded. Since Chi hyped up the reaction to "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" so much at the beginning, I'm already looking forward to next week's reaction. That was, as always, a fun reaction, ladies.💜 I wish the whole Movie Munchie team and the community a Merry Christmas and happy holidays🎄🎁

I feel the big 3 movies that we grew up on in the 90s are The Goonies, Stand by Me, and The Sandlot. Hella the guy you thought you recognized was Corey Feldman (Mouth). You and Ivy saw him in Stand by Me as the crazy friend with the burned ear. Thank you ladies for the fun reaction.
