Spider-Man Homecoming Reaction

Spider-Man Homecoming Reaction

Comments

That surprise about Toomes was so good in theaters. Your reaction was just like mine--

Chris Jarrett

Except in the MCU there is no uncle Ben

Kris Homeniuk

Good reaction to a good movie, I still prefer the Rami Spider-man movies, but that being said, These are really good, and help build up the other marvel movies.

Trajic

in response to @Nova comment: Ladies, Toby McGuire film also explains Spiderman's strengths, amazing agility and back story through a spider bite incident .... + Did you notice how/why Stan Lee got two lines in this movie ... (Respect!)

Truss

Wow.

Opti_Frog

This is the cute spider man for girls. Toby McGuire and Andrew Garfield Spiderman are more conventional where they’re doing most of the ass kicking.. like your typical crime fighting comic book hero’s. Yea tom holland is cute and charismatic (that’s why his spidy is for the women) he kinda sucks at being Spiderman 😅 I guess that’s the point though. They’re going for a more nuanced original approach to the character. But you guys should watch the real Spider-Man movies when you get around to it.

Nova

The first Spider-Man was Nicholas Hammond in the late 1970s TV series.

Edward Olson

The bad guy played Batman in Batman and Batman Returns

Mike G

Hella wants to be with the Avengers... so it would seem that we need to come up with ideas for her superhero identity.

S_Vive

bigshot opinion here

Stefan Williams

I don't know who needs to hear this but............Toby Maguire is the only true Spider-Man.

Paul De'Armond

I Love Spiderman!!! Can;t wait for you guys to watch all the different series and how they tie together. :D

N2Joker

Hella definitely watched all the MCU movies. There i said it 🤣

Daryl

In the original Spiderman cartoon from the 1960's, the theme song mentions "friendly neighborhood spider-man", I wasn't even 10 years old when this cartoon first showed on TV, it was pretty cool.

Piranther

As someone from Forest Hills, Queens (home of Spider Man), love the callout to the Ramones at the end (who also originated from Forest Hills - we have a large mural of the band here)

Raymond Lee

Hela played with action figures as a kid. You both get cooler with every reaction.

Charles W Jansen II

Yes. It does help understand this version. Helps with origin story.

Charles W Jansen II

That's interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Proto Type

woah, if they watch No Way Home without watching the original spiderman movies....we got problems.😲

Mark W

Like others have said, if you watch the other Spider-man movies, you will understand his origin. The highlights are that he was bitten by a radioactive spider (that's what he and Ned were talking about after Ned found out his identity). The spider gave him the ability to stick to surfaces and make web fluid, along with super-human strength, super-human agility and a 'spider sense' that alerts him to incoming danger. So he is far from normal. The actor that plays Toomes (The Vulture) probably looks familiar because he is Michael Keaton - who've you seen play Batman in Batman (1989) and Batman Returns, and also Beetlejuice!

46:28 Your assignments should be to learn that hand shake for the next Spider-man movie

I was at the Louvre in Paris last year. I saw a guy to the left of me and noticed he was wearing some really nice pants. Then I looked up and saw that it was Tom Holland holding hands with Zendaya. (not the most interesting story but thought I'd share it)

Henry N.

When Peter got bit by the spider, it gave him superhuman strength. For their size, some spiders are very strong.

YodatheHobbit

I think you need to watch the other Sony versions of Spider-Man The main live-action trilogies feature Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield actors that play Spider-Man. Before you go too far ahead in marvel because you need to understand those two versions.

Jay Wolfe

The old man yelling out of the window at the other lady was again Stan Lee production leader and creator of a lot of the characters like Spider-Man in the marvel universe and Sony

Jay Wolfe

Yeah they ABSOLUTELY MUST watch all the other Spider-Man movies before No Way Home or they will really miss out.

Jef Etters

I'm glad you're reacting to the other Spiderman movies too; it'll be worth it later. Even though Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther are two good movies coming up, I can hardly wait for your reaction to Avengers: Infinity War. For me, the best movie of the MCU. That was a hilarious reaction, ladies, as always!💜

Digitalversager

Spiderman go go

King Bob

Michael Keaton was phenomenal as (vulture) another movie I recommend that has Michael Keaton is Birdman or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance (2014) Hella and Chi y’all would love ❤️ it

Chase

Spider-Man is extremely strong. He was bitten by a radioactive spider that gave him his powers (him and Ned were talking about it)

Tucci

Hella was wondering about Spider-Man’s origin. They show it in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movies, you’ll get there. Basically his strength and all his abilities don’t come from Tony’s suits. That’s why he can use his home made one made out of sweatpants.

Jef Etters

Movie Munchies, 3 different actors have played Spider-Man. Toby Maguire in 2002, Andrew Garfield in 2012 (he was also 'Desmond Doss' in "Hacksaw Ridge") and Tom Holland in 2017. Adrian Toomes/Vulture was played by Michael Keaton, who also played 'Batman' in two films in 1989 and 1992. In the comics, Peter Parker was bitten by a Radioactive Spider at a Science Fair and gained Superhuman Abilities. So, he's not a normal human anymore. Great reaction BTW, you two. 👍👍👍

Pinitchio

Yess! They mentioned they are going to be watching the other Spiderman movies. I hope it also includes the two Amazing Spiderman moves in addition to the Sam Raimi trilogy and also watch them all before they watch No Way Home.

Grumples

Can't wait to watch this later. Love me some Spider Man.

Looney

Here we go into the Spider-man world! The Munchies should love Spider-man as well as Peter Parker. They only got a small dose of him in Civil War.
