Guardians of the Galaxy Reaction

Guardians of the Galaxy Reaction

Comments

The 2nd guardiams movie takes place about 6 months after this one

Kris Homeniuk

A word of warning not spoilers, the duck in the end credits is Howard the duck, he shows up again in the MCU, but he had a standalone movie in the 1980s. It got a lot of bad reviews but was a fun movie to watch as a kid

Kris Homeniuk

The baby groot is a completely differnt Groot from the adult one, like growing a new plant from cuttings.

You know what’s "quite strange"? It’s a sour dude reading my comment and somehow missing the part where I said, "I'm probably in the minority" He skips that part and decides to respond not to discuss some merits but to throw out some fugaze BS about, "Considering this is one of the most praised superhero movies of all time." By whom . . . you and your friends (Okay😐) . . . Rotten Tomatoes (garbage🗑) . . . Critics (😆)? No, the real strange thing is you couldn't handle that I don't like this cornball movie, so you just threw out some nonsensical remarks all so you could tell me I'm "QUITE strange." And you had the nerve to say, "James Gunn doesn't miss."🤣

RichieBIV

Considering this is one of the most praised superhero movies of all time, along with the rest of the trilogy, I imagine you are definitely in the vast minority. James Gunn doesn't miss. You must be quite strange.

Jake Follain

I’m probably in the minority, and usually, if I don't care for a movie, I just skip commenting. But, man, this one wasn't that good to me before, and after watching it again, it’s even worse. ✌🏾

RichieBIV

Awesome reaction. Love the Guardian movies! You ladies do so well with so much ‘American’ references and such. I’m sure it’s hard….great reaction!

K B

Spoiler, they don’t know about the mind stone until next week.

Angrytoybox

Plus the Christmas special will make a lot more sense.

Angrytoybox

Right right, how could i have forgotten that stone in the staff. Overall, we shall see what they got to say when they see the true terrifying power of the stones in the future movies

generous wallet

Hella reacted to a movie with Kevin Bacon called Tremors and Chi reacted to A Few Good Men in which Kevin is starring too.

Milvo

love the movie, love the reaction! i was so looking forward to this one :) such a great combination of action, comedy and epic moments! <3 on to the second Avengers movie!

Igor

i think it's actually the fourth one they've seen :) 1. Space Stone (contained in the Tesseract - the 4D cube) 2. Mind Stone (contained in the Scepter - Loki's weapon he used to control people's minds) 3. Reality Stone (usually appears as a red liquid - Aether, contained in a box that was given to the Collector) so the Power Stone contained in a silver orb would be the fourth one :) i love how most of the stones have to be contained in something since they are so powerful!

Igor

Definitely agree that they should react to Footloose. It's a very fun movie and a running joke with the Guardians of the Galaxy. The actual actor in the movie is named Kevin Bacon. It's a movie that would have been popular in America around the time that Peter was abducted from Earth in the late 1980s. All of Peter's knowledge of Earth pop culture ended when he was abducted in 1988 so all of his references to movies and music are from that time or before.

Joel Purvis

Hella, I am so happy you aren't the bad guy. That's means we survive to see your reaction Avengers: Age of Ultron. Love your reactions. Thought I heard Chi say Baby Groot.

Charles W Jansen II

Maybe watch Footloose. It will make sense. Guardians 2 will explain more. Keep paying attention, it’s going to get crazy.

Angrytoybox

I think a good suggestion might be to watch the Fox X-Men films soon as well, as otherwise....things are going to make less sense at a future point with Marvel movies

Robert Meza

Can’t wait to see your reaction to volume 2! You’re gonna be shocked

fan

haha.....To each their own.

TippedDuke

My thought exactly about Stan Lee. Just so the girls know, Stan Lee was the creator/co-creator of Iron Man and many other Marvel characters and he wrote many of the comics stories while Marvel comics coming up in the world. Stan has made an appearance in all the Marvel movies that the girls have watched so far. He's usually in the movie for less than a minute.

SpunToTheLeft

Some relevant vocabulary: Terra, Terran: "Terra" is Latin for Earth. We still use it sometimes in English when we want to describe Earth things in a more fancy way. Thesaurus: is a book (or probably an app nowadays) that lists synonyms (words that mean the same thing, or từ đồng nghĩa) for other words. Ingot: an ingot is a piece of pure metal (or other substance). They are usually processed into some other form later, or used to manufacture other things. I *think* thỏi kim loại is the Vietnamese translation... Also - you two seem to not recognize Stan Lee showing up in each movie, but he has a more extended appearance in Guardians of The Galaxy: Volume 2...

James Hull

These movies have some of the best music ever \m/

Proto Type

If you don't like Iron Man 1, Infinity War, Winter Soldier, Civil War, or Endgame there might be a few things different about you, to say the least.

Jake Follain

This was such a fun reaction to watch. I love this movie. Seeing Chi sing a long at the beginning of the movie made my day. And Hella rockin that Morticia Addams look. I dig it.

Looney

We are very lucky that Hela isn't the bad guy!😂

Cornelius P. Stranglefart, Attorney at Law D.D.S.

70. Excellent review of this film, you ladies are on a roll with these uploads. Gangster movies, westerns, and of course the MCU. Howard the Duck is another Marvel character but not really in the fighting like all the other characters. Howard the Duck was the first Marvel movie, then Blade and finally Ironman. Howard the duck came out in 1986. It was good for its time so don't pay attention to Rotten tomatoes 13% rating. I'm looking forward to the next upload. On to the next.

Saints_Madness

Yeah, "Let's Dance!"

James Hull

Very fun reaction as always. Just like R2D2, Groot gets the Munchies hearts.

Ninja Puppet

I have never been a fan of Marvel movies, but there are two exceptions - Deadpool and Guardians of the Galaxy. Plus, who doesn't like a green Zoe Saldana? Great job as always ladies!

TippedDuke

Yes! Now we are getting into the meat of the Marvel Universe where we saw another one of the infinity stones! This is the third one that you have seen so far, the stone of power! The other ones you have seen during the war on New York in the Avengers movie, and the red one from Thor Dark world. Can't wait to see the both of you to react to the other stones!

generous wallet

I am Groot (I can't wait either.)

Jay Maurice

This movie simply has a killer soundtrack; every song is a hit.🔥 Footloose is a cult dance movie from the '80s, with Kevin Bacon in the lead role. The Movie ist definitely worth a reaction.😉 That was an awesome reaction, ladies, as always.💜 I'm already looking forward to the next step in the MCU journey.

Digitalversager

The Guardians trilogy is my fave Marvel movies ( Thor Ragnarok my second I think ) and the soundtrack is so cool

Johnny Sondergard

This movie is a lot of fun, and it features a lot of tall actors. Nebula, Gamora's sister, is played by Karen Gillan. She's a Scottish Actor and model. I think she first got famous acting in the British series Doctor Who. She's tall around 6ft tall(182cm). She's known for wearing really high heels and makes the male actors look short, but not... Dave Bautista, he plays Drax the Destroyer. He was a professional wrestler who turned actor. He's a big guy and he's around 6 foot 4 or 194cm. But, he's not the tallest actor in this movie. Ronan is played by Lee Pace, he's 6 foot 5 inches tall. I think he's a great actor. He was in an American TV series called Halt and Catch Fire that was really good. James Gunn is the director of this film. He made all three of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies for Disney, but now he is fully working for Warner Brothers and he's in charge of rebooting the DCEU, Batman, superman, and all those characters. The first entry in his version of DC was the animated show Creature Commandos and I have to say I really enjoyed that show and you can tell he's in charge. His work is usually a nice mix of violent action, humor, and touching moments.

Steven Roy

This was my favorite Marvel movie until Deadpool came along. It has heart and gets the balance between comedy and tragedy just right. It borrows from other iconic shows, but doesn't make it too obvious. Nowhere is modeled after a similar location in the SciFi TV series Farscape, and the dying with friends line is right out of Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. The dog is a reference to the early development of the Soviet rocket program when they sent a dog into space before trying it with a man. Tells you everything you need to know about Russians. It's nice to imagine that the dog survived.

Mr Jackpots

Can’t wait for age of ultron!!

Ken

So many great shows you might like. Succession is fantastic and would love to see you watch.

Mike G

Great movie. I think it's a toss up between Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America for the nest non-Avengers trilogy.

Ryan Alexander

Howard the Duck was a Marvel character that had a movie long before the current Marvel movies, like in the 1980's. It's...an interesting movie that has no bearing on this story line at all, it was just a fun little joke for people who remember that movie. We're right in the golden era for this series of movies, and the rest of the journey will be a lot of fun. Age of Ultron up next!

PapaXan

Woo this should be fun, hope the ladies dig the amazing soundtrack, Avengers 2 next week, how time flies!

Patrick

Definitely loving your MCU journey so far ladies! Keep up the good spirits!😊

JoJo

Thanks for making this Sunday even better for me!

PapaXan

Loving the MCU journey with you ladies. Guardians of the Gallery! 😂 Keeping it going!
