also, smashing the beetles is kind of like The Mountain smashing Oberyn's head (yikes... but, it's true xD )

It's both, I think. Arya realizes she is cursed, starting at the time her dad was killed. She stops viewing death as a horrid thing, and starts taking pleasure in it as it completely surrounds her. I think the fact that The Hound has no idea his mission is futile because she is curse, in her view it's hilarious, he is doomed as well but doesn't realize it, it just makes her laugh even more.

While its true for both the show and the book that the hound says he views ayra as a meal ticket (reality might be different) and ayra believes him.
Its more reasonable to assume that in a moment of personal setback ayra (or whoever else) thinks of herself first. instead off of someone else. So laughting from despair and irony makes a lot more sense.
Especially given they did not spend that much time together even less so in the books (where they never even make it to the vale iirc)
Looking at the scene again, her laught also does not start while looking towards sandor, its even questionable if she looks at the guards. she gives sandor only one short look while laughting. on the other hand we have pan out from above as if we are the gods looking down on this world, gods, fate and maybe the viewers themselves.

The actor that plays The Mountain is an Icelandic body-builder that won the World's Strongest Man competition. His wife is a short lady, so they are a cute couple.

Waited 4 seasons looking forward to this reaction. It did not disappoint. I feel kind of bad though lol. Hella could have played Oberyn's wife with that scream.

Still haunts me to this day. I remember going to work the next morning, looking around at other people in the office, I could tell who had seen it just by the look on their faces. We were all changed that day. My supervisor asked me how it was, but I had no words for him. I could only respond with "Don't watch it. Scarred for life."

That's one way to view it, I suppose.
I took it more like Restless Adventurer described - that she was specifically laughing at the Hound who had trekked so long and hard to deliver her for ransom when the last person who could (and might be willing to) provide one is announced to have died by the time they'd arrived.

It's OK. It's like Little Finger said: "men die squatting on their chamber pots"

Great reaction as usual. I was devastated when Oberyn died but not too surprised because GOT always goes for the dagger to the heart.
Now, speaking of Cliffhanger - that would be a good movie to react to! Sylvester Stallone and John Lithgow. Pretty decent movie.

I remember how shocked I was that Oberyn lost the fight. I thought he would win, especially once he injured the Mountain and had him on the floor. Very shocking twist as he had been such a central character for so long.
This is why I liked GoT so much. You can never predict what is going to happen. Nobody is protected by "plot armor" in this.

Youβre both fantastic. Keep up the good work.

The story about the beetles is meant to make you think about whether there is any point to life. They didn't give you an answer because there isn't one. Everyone has to find that answer themselves.

reaction at the end was so good, 3 women screaming at the same time
arya laughts because of irony, everywhere she goes, just a few days early her relatives die.

You're always so hopeful at the start of each episode, but a mass of tears by the end. Do you sense a pattern here?

Nah, the younger Sandsnake, clearly this world's most beautiful woman. Even Bronn said so, the fact he was dying of poison at the time isn't relevent

Arya laughed because after all the hard effort to travel to the Vale, her aunt was dead and would not be paying her ransom. And Sansa was traveling with a fake name. The men at the gate do not know Sansa Stark is in the Vale. Excellent episode!

Great episode! I've only started the intro and I feel so bad for you Hella, you look so excited to see Cersei's face drop when Prince Oberyn beats The Mountain... I'm actually nervous to see how you react to what actually happens! I love how hopeful you are though, please don't change!
