The Straight Man is the term for the serious person, or at least not a crazy person. A lot of American TV shows will also feature one "Straight Man" surrounded by crazy people. In the Kung Fu School, when Chris Tucker gets confused by the Master's name being Yu and his assistant being called Mi, this is a call back to a very famous and very old comedy bit called "Who's on First". Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan have sort of not directly said no to a possible 4th movie someday, but, I think the general consensus is it won't happen (and probably wouldn't be able to capture lightning again anyway).
