Million Dollar Baby Reaction

Million Dollar Baby Reaction

Comments

This is probably dumb to ask at this point, but (seeing that I've been watching y'all for a long time now) you all do know Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman aren't going to talk back to you . . . . .๐Ÿ˜„? By the way, everything wasn't resolved because the movie ended; Clint Eastwood's character still has to figure shit out. That's lifeโ€”on to the next step or battle. Chi should have watched it. Also, the dog wasn't just buried, he was put down because it was gimpy and old. It was MERCY.

RichieBIV

Chi should watch this movie too. Not alone oc, but maybe together with the girls from Asian Angels ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŒง๏ธ

Johnny Sondergard

You may be right. I read the book in school a long time ago. Donโ€™t think I could handle the movie lol.

Chase

My bad....hope you're ok?

Andy Worthington

I felt so bad when Katie asked who suggested this movie. I was one. As sad as the movie is it's a real masterpiece, the way it tugs at those heart strings and really makes you care about everyone. That's real writing and real story telling. I think I'm still waiting on Jojo Rabbit, though :)

Andy Worthington

Million Dollar Baby is really hard to watch every time. Clint Eastwood really manages to give you this high, and then a moment later, pull the rug out from under you. No matter how many times I watch the movie, it always ends in tears. The wonderful reaction ladies, as always!๐Ÿ’œ

Digitalversager

If continuing with Clint Eastwood movies, he also starred in and directed a very good romantic drama called 'The Bridges of Madison County' (1995)

S M

1:16:57 this is Clint Eastwood's real life daughter Morgan Eastwood ๐Ÿ˜Š

Johnny Sondergard

Awesome movie and reaction. Now you need tp watch "Pale Rider" also starring and directed by Clint ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Johnny Sondergard

rocky is an inspiring movie . i think u should consider it.

Snick

I don't watch the ending of this movie anymore. It's just too sad. I just skipped to Munchies outro. Great job, Munchies~

Prof. Writhms

Oh. No. More trauma.

Eric Muirhead

I vote for Rocky as well.

K

Two more great movies directed by Clint Eastwood. "Flags of our Fathers" and "Sands of Iwo Jima" should be high on your list. The two basically go together and tell the stories of the opposing sides between the USA and Japan in WW2. Each is a fantastic look into the lives of the men who fought the war.

I was reminded of this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_30V_ncBQtQ&ab_channel=DeathCabforCutie

How about Ali (2001). It's a biographical film about the boxer Muhammad Ali. It shows a lot of historical events and has some great actors. Hela looks like she could throw a strong right hook.

Grumpy Monk

I would love if you guys watched The Wrestler (2008) for another sports drama movie

mundanelotus

i'll wait for that one! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I too am part of the "Watch Rocky" movement.

Steven Roy

I will once again encourage you ladies to watch ROCKY(1976). It's a boxing movie, but also not about boxing. I won't spoil it for you, but it will leave you with a much different feeling than this movie. You should at least watch the first two Rocky films and maybe the first four. The Blue Bear, the dirty boxer, is played by Lucia Rijker. She is an actual championship boxer and kickboxer. The lady is a real life bad ass. She won many fights with no need to cheat. haha. Margo Martindale plays the evil, trailer trash mom. She's been in a lot of American TV shows, but she makes a great bad "guy". This movie is set in and filmed in Los Angeles, and the movie really captures the vibe of Los Angeles, or at least one of the vibes of Los Angeles. The city is huge and different neighborhoods can feel like you've gone to a different country - in a good way. The story this movie was based on was written by Jerry Boyd, but he wrote under the name F.X. Toole. In real life, he was an actual boxing trainer and "cut man" in Los Angeles. I think he published his first story when he was 70. So, maybe if you want to be a writer or a boxer, don't give up.

Steven Roy

Guess you never watched Where The Red Fern Grows. lol

Manospondylus

It wasn't me, Katie. I didn't recommend this film. What the hell ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Daryl

It's an incredible film but very hard to re-watch.

Dreldven

If you get the chance watch "Pale Rider" another great Eastwood Movie

JOHN SHOOK

Thank you for doing this and I'm sorry for putting you through this in equal measure! I agree that it is probably the hardest movie that you'll ever have to sit through but I also think that it is worth it. Such an incredible experience.

Joel Purvis

Don't worry Katy I agree it's a good song

Henry N.

Clint Eastwood's films are so great because to me he always puts a touch of reality in them, whether we like it or not. This could have been another Rocky type, but his portrayal of emotional trauma hits even harder.

Louis Powis

Saddest movie Iโ€™ve ever seen. Havenโ€™t watched the reaction yet but I hope you two are okay lol

Chase

Hellooooooo Katy ๐Ÿ˜ Never seen this film, but look forward to watching. Heard great things!!

Daryl

It's a shame that Chi missed this one but that probably saved her from another nosebleed. If you want another boxing movie, I recommend 'Cinderella Man' (2005)

S M

Hopefully this movie inspires you to watch the Rocky movies (1-4). It will change your life and it's got great endings!!

Milvo

Please react to Space Cowboys (2000) another great Clint Eastwood movie ๐ŸŒŽ ๐Ÿš€ ๐Ÿ›ฐ ๐ŸŒ”
