Game of Thrones 4x3 Reaction

Jamie fathered all of Cersei's children, none were by Robert.

The clues about the poisoning are in this episode and one of the previous ones. You just won't realize it for a long time.

Careful for spoilers.

Episode 5. https://youtu.be/O8ES_ElI6Wg?t=120

Manospondylus

She says it in Episode 2 of Season 1, after Bran falls, I think it was either a deception or it was retconned (or it just didn't really matter to Robert, which also stands to reason considering how little he cares about the other other three.) You're right it goes against the prophecy, which gives more credence to the idea it was maybe just a plot hole.

The sword called: Widow's Wail (wail=than van) Little Finger has a Slitherin voice. The drunk fool should be more careful dealing with LF, there was a way to secure his life. Typing said that Tommen has the temperament to be a king; what does that mean? Winning battles is completely different than ruling a community; agree on that. Tywin seems to have a strong influence on Tommen, will that be a problem in the future? About Tommen genealogy, I have one thing to say: "the seed is strong" (what the Hand Jon Arryn whisper to master of King's Landing) Who does Jamie thinks he is to order the priests leave their Sept. That make me angry. Meereen is the largest and strongest slave city in the bay. About the duel: yes, that's how I remember it from Troy. If it's easy for Daenerys: well she give some good speeches, and offer slaves their freedom. In the first city she use dragon, so it wasn't easy; in second city she appeared with whole Unsullied army out of the gates (Unsullied is famous soldiers, and the amount of 8.000 of them is unprecedented, and they breach the entrance). So at the previous 2 cities things happened that was very rare to happen, which had a profound phycologist effect, and the authorities were unprepared for that. Now we will see what will happen at this third and stronger city.

You should just remind them the phrase "the seed is strong", not explain everything to them.

Are you sure? She might lied to Caitlin. I don't remember about bring baby to Robert (which episode?; after or before which event). How can Cersei have more than 3 children, that would go against the prophecy.

Stelios

That's a good catch, the one who died as an infant, some people took it as her being genuine, others see it as her manipulating Caitlyn. It's so hard to tell because they basically retconned it. I guess I should say her only (surviving) children are Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen.

Ladies, I am with you. Tyrion is one of the best characters on this show. There are a few other good ones, but not many.๐Ÿ˜

Jeffrey Roberts

You forget one. The "little black haired beauty" she tells Caitlin about after Bran was hurt. In the show she brings him up to Robert before he goes hunting. Pretty sure it's only in the tv show and not the books though.

Manospondylus

The scene with Tyrion and Podrick was so good. Probably the two best men in all of Kings Landing. Great reaction ladies as always...Game of Thrones Thursday is always a highlight.๐Ÿ’œ

When Tywin and Oberon are talking, Tywin CATEGORICALLY denies having anything to do with Oberon's sister's death. In English, you can Categorically deny something: meaning there's no way I was involved in that, and you can also Categorically refuse to do something: meaning there's no way I'm doing that. This might be confusing because English also has CATEGORIES, as in different classifications of things. Example: Fruits and vegetables are two categories of food. I think when Hella doesn't understand a particular word usage she'll repeat it, but I'm not sure. SHORE UP. When the men of Castle Black are discussing what to do about the wildlings, someone suggests they "Shore up" the walls. Even though I am a native English speaker, I used to think the term was "sure up", but nope it's "shore up" which means to make stable or strong. It comes from ship repair when they would move a ship to the SHORE to repair it and would have to build supports to hold the ship upright. Shore it up. So, the term now is used metaphorically just meaning to make anything stronger or more stable.

Great reaction! All of Cersei's children are bastards, she never had any children with Robert.

You should watch Succession. It's another show with writing that is just as good as seasons 1-4 of Game of Thrones (arguably better.) I'd also recommend Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. The Penguin is a recent one that has great writing, too.

Tommen (the new King) and Myrcella (the sister who was sent to Dorne) are in fact bastards just like Joffrey, born from Jaime and Cersei. This is implied by the same reasoning used when Ned realizes Joffrey is a bastard, that all of Robert Baratheon's lineage has dark hair whereas Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen have blonde hair like the Lannisters.

Juice

FYI all of the children are "secretly" Jamie Lanisters because they all have yellow hair
