let's not go down the rabbit hole, With the exception of the Toby Maguire/ Andrew Garfield Spiderman, you can probably ignore all of those. The references To the wider Marvel Universe are so minor that they are largely irrelevant.

King Bob

"Maybe Hammer is back." LOL. See the next movie. ;)

Thaddeus Winterson

56. Lol Scarlet Johansson and in the MCU she is the black widow. Excellent reaction to this film and don't forget, now that your in the Marvel movies, there is a cut scene at the very end of the film. Don't forget to skip ahead to see the scenes. On to the Next

Saints_Madness

I don't remember much of it to be 100% accurate but I seem to remember at some point it going downhill after the virtual reality Matrix thing. I can't remember what it was. Usually it's main character deaths that do it for me.. When they stupidly kill off a character that should not have been killed off.

Alex

The series started strong, but eventually went off the rails just like the rest of the MCU. They lost me when Grant Ward turned evil. I only kept watching because of Ming-Na.

Mr Jackpots

I wish I could give everything a happy ending just to see Hela smile.

Mr Jackpots

This is getting confusing as you are both rooting for Tony Stark AND the Starks of Winterfell!

phoenix241

Unless I missed it, you forgot the music video from GOTG2, Guardians Inferno.

Charles W Jansen II

Agreed, it it is a good show. It is numbered in my MCU list in my comment below in the following way: 12. Agents of SHIELD season 1 (September 2013 – May 2014) 17. Agents of SHIELD season 2 (September 2014 – May 2015) 22. Agents of SHIELD season 3 (September 2015 – May 2016) 27. Agents of SHIELD season 4 (September 2016 – May 2017) 38. Agents of SHIELD season 5 (December 2017 – May 2018) 52. Agents of SHIELD season 6 (May 2019 – August 2019) 56. Agents of SHIELD season 7 (May 2020 – August 2020) I would say, however, that the rest of the MCU can be watched and understood without watching this TV show. Perhaps the first episode of the first season should be watched.

Stephen Paynter

I also missed the three "Blade" movies, and the non-MCU Marvel cartoon series (many of which are aimed at children).

Stephen Paynter

Yes, I missed Howard the Duck. I know he was a character that had his own comics as well as a movie, and I know he has appeared in a few MCU movies, but .... well, I never felt he was a good fit in the Marvel universe ... but that is just my bias. If I remember correctly, his movie would come pre-2000, so would place before X-Men (2000)

Stephen Paynter

You missed Howard the Duck

Imperial Mort

The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. show is very good also.

Alex

The Marvel MCU can get a little complicated. Most reactors and fans agree that the best way to watch the MCU is in the order they were released. The most complete listing of MCU movies, shorts and TV shows is the following taken from (https://www.digitalspy.com/movies/a825774/marvel-cinematic-universe-in-chronological-order/}. The list was origally prefaced by this statement: "(We've left X-Men '97 off this list as it's not technically part of the MCU and is a continuation of the original '90s series instead. If you want to include it anyway, it ran from March-May 2024.) 1. Iron Man (May 2008) 2. The Incredible Hulk (June 2008) 3. Iron Man 2 (April 2010) 4. Thor (April 2011) 5. Watch Now you see me

Jaura

Things are better now.

Manospondylus

FYI: as good as these first few movies are, the consensus seems to be that the movies get better after these ones. Personally I enjoyed Thor but many find the first two Thor movies to be low points in the Marvel universe, but the Third Thor movie is a big favorite for many people. So whether you like Thor or not I would urge you to keep going with these movies. There are some really fun movies and the interconnectedness of them all up through Avengers: Endgame is a unique and amazing cinematic achievement. You won't be disappointed.

Joel Purvis

great, looking forward to Thor so much! and of course, everything that follows, i think you are really going to enjoy all of the movies :)

Igor

Sad to say, I was guilty of this until I read this comment!

James Hull

Yay!! So glad you are starting the Marvel Movies. Trust me.... it's better than the DC universe. Spiderman is my favourite. Can't wait to see your reactions to all the action and emotions in the films. :D

N2Joker

Also the movie 'Johnny Handsome'

JOHN SHOOK

Tony's driver Happy, is also the director of the movie. Also I think you guys would like the series, The Walking Dead.

JOHN SHOOK

Make sure you eY h Captain America: First Avenger now!!!

Dustin

Yes, I did. Because they didn’t immediately recognize Thor’s hammer. My point was that there are often more then one and not to miss a second or third little post credit scene.

Noal McInnis

The kid is someone but it’s not revealed in the movies 🕷️

Angrytoybox

They did you didn’t watch their show until the end.

Angrytoybox

Yeah, they might want to take their own advice a stick to comments about movies. Instead of using movie munchies for a soapbox. I doubt the ladies care.

Angrytoybox

You should do some other big shows. Succession is a great one

Mike G

Remember that at the end of almost every MCU movie there is an extra scene placed after the end credits are finished. In this one you get a little tease of what the next movie in the series will be...

James Hull

you wrote all that just to hate on Elon? Okay

Mark W

BTW: Elon Musk cameo came at a time when he was creating electric car industry and rocket industry. Not the time when he was a social media mogul and politician. Still a cool cameo… but I wish Elon stuck with engineering, instead of letting his ego grow so huge getting involved in things he doesn’t understand. Elon feel victim to the common trap of successful people - he thinks himself a wise man good at everything. “Only the wise man thinks himself a fool. But a fool thinks himself a wise man.”

Luke Drumm

Thor is the next movie and I really think you ladies are going to really enjoy it!

Angelos Saniotis

Not sure if it was edited out, but almost every Marvel film has after credits scenes, sometimes more than one. (Can't remember which this film had).

Anna Kyruin

Mickey Rourke (Ivan Vanko) also Stars in a couple of my favorite movies: ~ The Wrestler ~ Sin City

Proto Type

Ladies, be sure you always watch all the way through the end credits for Marvel movies. Those little scenes are always there and often there are more than one. And, sorry Chi, but agent Romanoff and Tony never actually have any chemistry. Looking forward to your reaction to Cpt. America. Steve Rogers is frequently a favorite of the ladies. 😂

Noal McInnis

Fun movie and a great reaction from you ladies!💜 I knew you would like the character Natascha Romanoff aka Black Widow.😅 I'm looking forward to the next reaction to Thor. The movie introduces one of my favorite characters in the MCU, Loki, and you can look forward to Chris Hemsworth.😉

Digitalversager

I think the success of the first movie allowed Marvel to get some great actors for this movie. Mickey Rourke plays Ivan Vanko. He is an actor and boxer and he is in a ton of movies, but my favorites are Angel Heart(1987) and The Wrestler (2008). Angel Heart would make a great reaction. It's a detective movie, but I don't want to say more. Scarlett Johansen plays Tony's new assistant. She's also a very famous actress and in some great movies, including Christopher Nolan's The Prestige. You'll see her a lot more if you continue watching the Marvel movies. Sam Rockwell plays Hammer. He's almost never the star and always a supporting actor, but he does star in a movie called MOON that is a cool film. Sam Rockwell and Scarlett Johansen are both in a movie called JoJo Rabbit, a film directed by Taika Waititi, who also directed a couple of the Thor movies, but Waititi's most important contribution to cinema is a film called What We Do in The Shadows.

Steven Roy

Let’s go 🤍

Angelos Saniotis

The Tony Stark saga continues. Love your reactions ladies!
