It's not a holiday movie but I hope you watch Grand Budapest Hotel soon :) <3

Jalapeno Boy

... and looks like "Die Hard" FTW by 2 paces ... meh

Truss

Die Hard is a "Far Cry," and barely one at that, from an X-mas movie. They play "A Christmas Story " all day long on some networks for a reason. I voted for "Bad Santa" - LoL "Best !"

Truss

Jingle all the way

Saints_Madness

I think Hela will cry. My dad cried every time he watched It's a Wonderful Life, and he wasn't a crier

Boney

Die Hard is such a great movie, but I do hope the Munchies get a chance to watch ELF, or maybe The Asian Angels can step in and do some of these.

Steven Roy

Yup , and that's the full circle of the "die hard is not a Xmas movie" satire. Because of this truth, gen x made it compulsory Xmas movie survey voting. That is if die hard is on a Xmas list it is your duty to always 5op vote it. Hence it has always stayed at the top of the list. Even though we know it wasn't a Xmas movie. A 35 yr old and ongoing friendly troll. And it is a good movie too boot.

Gavin Dwyer

Special cameo in that one. Lol

Manospondylus

It's a Wonderful Life is an absolute must for the holidays. Keep on rockin

rick j pirak

They did Home Alone last year. Still need Home Alone 2 though

S M

My sister and I watch Scrooged and Christmas Vacation together every year as a tradition

Bryan

So many choices . All great. Next time maybe you consider home alone. Family comodey xmas

Gavin Dwyer

Muppet Christmas Carol really is a classic.

Brandon

I voted for Gremlins because Stripe = \m/

Proto Type

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.

Manospondylus

Man that Scrooged really gets so little love😢

Digitalversager

Three words. Ho. Ho. Ho.👮+🔫+🏢=🎅🎁🎁🎁+(⚰️)

Varrus

😂 Can I have sprouts with my coal, please? 🙂

Duncan

If you voted for f*kn Die Hard, Santa is brining you a lump of coal this Christmas.

Paul De'Armond

Sir!! Yes!! Sir!! 🫡

Blackwargreymon00

Duncan

Should probably edit spoilers out until they watch it.

S M

die hard isn't technically a christmas movie..or wasn't intended to be 😂

Mark W

It IS a Christmas Movie. Hans Gruber and his band of merry elves use unconventional methods to bring Holly and John back together to give their children the perfect Christmas gift.

John Z.

"I don't care what anyone says. Rocky is not a boxing movie!"

S M

I don't care what anyone says. Die Hard is not a Christmas movie!

ryanrb

Watch all of them!

Joseph Briscoe

Agreed, Die Hard and Gremlins

Brett Norman

They promised to watch the top 2. Just FYI.

S M

Groundhog Day is February 2nd..

S M

how is Ground Hog day not on here?

Oscar Landrum

My favourite Christmas movie of all time is The Muppets Christmas Carol but that wasn't on the list so I voted for my second favourite, Die Hard. I would love to see you react to Gremlins too.

Legion Steve

I would say It's a Wonderful life is the best of the films you chose, but I voted for Die Hard because I think that will be the most entertaining.

Henry N.

1) "It's a Wonderful Life". It's on TV every Christmas. Ive seen it so many times I could turn off the sounds and say the lines myself. 2) "Diehard". Because it *IS* a Christmas movie 3) "A Christmas Story". Classic. The basis of many a internet meme. 4) "The Nightmare Before Christmas". Not on your list. But a good transition from Halloween movies to Christmas movies. You've never seen anything like it before. 5) "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" "It beautiful, Clark!"

Alec Dacyczyn

Rooting for It's a wonderful life to beat elf into second place, not that elf isn't great, just that i was expecting elf and die hard to win and it's a wonderful life is maybe one of the greatest movies ever and it would be nice to get a reaction to a movie made before 1970, also Die Hard is totally a christmas movie, i think the argument that it's not is bizarre, it's plot revolves around a christmas party, christmas is referenced throughout, it's more christmassy than some movies on this list, Trading Places is great but i'll watch that any time of year, i only watch Die Hard at christmas time, anyways what do i know my favorite christmas movie is Eyes Wide Shut, which i didn't recommend because I'm not insane I know that movie isn't for everyone lol my second favorite christmas movie is The Muppets Christmas Carol which I'm sad to not see on the list but maybe next year hey, maybe Asian Angels can react to some of the runners up on this list like Christmas Vacation and Gremlins?

Jonathan Kidman

Honestly, i think you should watch all of them During the month of December......

King Bob

Yeah i don't think it is a Christmas movie either. I see it has a good action movie released at Christmas.

King Bob

good alternatives :)

King Bob

Yeah but it might be more suited to Halloween though

King Bob

didn't even think about that one but yeah, Christmas themes are limited to the end of the movie though. Mosts people view it as a Halloween Movie A movie directed by Tim Burton and Starring Jhonny Dept, it has a lot of Gothic themes from Tim Burtons other movies like Batman (1989), Batman Returns(1992) and Beetlejuice (1988) which we have already seen.

King Bob

i think you are referring to "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" with Chevy Chase? I Loved this movie when I was a child so funny lol Die Hard.... i wouldn't say this was a Christmas movie, was an action movie released at Christmas. It is good but it has very little to do with Christmas

King Bob

Ah, come on. Christmas isn’t a major plot point in that. John McClane could have been visiting Holly to patch things up any time (thanksgiving? 4th July?) I disagree with you, with love 🙏🏻

Duncan

Can you do more reactions to Game of Thrones?

Michael J

Brandon: Well then you can say the same about "Its A Wonderful Life". Its about a guy having troubles in life. Take away Christmas and you can have the same movie. It just takes place in December.

Mr. Writhms

True, but all those things could be taken out of the movie, and it would be the exact same movie. That's why I say it's just a movie that happens to take place in December.

Brandon

The Nightmare Before Christmas would be a great watch! It's brimming with creativity and amazing music.

Chris

Maybe do a second poll for 2nd place considering Die Hard is getting so many votes.

Kyfe

Christmas itself is also a major plot point of the movie: the whole shenanigans of sending out incorrect automatic invitations due to the holiday, plus, there's gift unwrapping... kinda...

Kyfe

It's A Wonderful Life is an actual Christmas movie, Die Hard is not.

Alex Anderson

Christmas is a major plot point of the movie, though. It's not "traditional," but who defines traditional? We do. Probably a majority of people who care consider it a Christmas Movie at this point.

Kyfe

You're completely wrong.

Alex Anderson

I love how you know Die Hard is a Christmas movie, lol

Kyfe

It's. A wonderful life black and white

jscott

If it on at Christmas and it often is then its a Christmas movie. lol

Phoenix911

As much as I love a lot of movies on this list, I don't think many of them would be very fun for you ladies to watch. In no particular order I'd say these would be fun. GREMLINS SCROOGED DIE HARD THE SANTA CLAUSE EDWARD SCISSOR HANDS Also I personally think It's A Wonderful Life might be too much of a classic/old, and Elf may be a little too silly/kid friendly, but maybe I'm wrong.

Brett Norman

Agreed. I love it (Rickman is stupendously good), but I just can’t bring myself to definite it as a ‘Christmas movie’. That said, that’s no excuse to not watch it at Christmas 👍🏻

Duncan

Only one pick? That was difficult! I feel bad for not voting for Trading Places because it’s brilliant.

Duncan

I have 3 movies I love. Santa Clause the Movie from 1985 A Christmas Carol from 1951 Scrooge from 1970 I would strongly recommend them. If we are purely taking from the list then I would suggest Die Hard. Miracle on 34th street the 1994 version, The original from 1947 is pretty good but I do like the 1994 version more. And National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Hope this helps but the first 3 I love and hope you will watch and enjoy as much as I do.

Phoenix911

'Die Hard' is a Christmas movie, 'Die Hard 2' is set at Christmas but is not a Christmas movie. The movie on this list that is most not a Christmas movie is 'Trading Places'

S M

Agreed.

PapaXan

Trading places is great.

Robert L

I can't believe there's so little love for "A Christmas Story".

Prometheus

I would love to see Chi and Hella react to Gremlins

SHANE MARSHALL

I like Die Hard, but while it is set at Christmas, in many ways it's not a Christmas movie.

Prometheus

"The Santa Clause" should have an E on the end. That may be why people don't recognize it and it has no votes.

Prometheus

Why no option of "Just Friends"? It's a Christmas movie and yYou guys loved Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool.

Prometheus

Such a good movie :)

chuugummy

I was hoping you would react to Die Hard! :D

chuugummy

If it was an option, I would have voted for Edward Scissorhands

S M

I dont get the Die Hard love. It always feels like trolling but I know it's not. People love it. I just really don't get it.

Cornelius P. Stranglefart, Attorney at Law D.D.S.

Agreed

Proto Type

Edward Scissorhands would also make a good christmas movie.

Tcherno Alpha

I'd also recommend Jingle All The Way. it's a Christmas comedy with Arnold Schwarzenegger (They guy from Terminator)

Ashley

Wish I could vote for multiple as there are a few I wouldn’t mind voting for on here

Daniel Sheargold

'Die Hard' is both an essential action movie and an essential Christmas movie. I'm personally choosing 'It's a Wonderful Life' as it may open the door to some other classic movies, but Die Hard is inevitable. They've also enjoyed Bruce Willis in 'The Fifth Element', 'The Sixth Sense', 'Armageddon', so I'm confident they will enjoy what is arguably his best movie.

S M

I'm surprised you don't have 'Home Alone 2: Lost in New York' there after doing the first last year. I wouldn't suggest 'Christmas Vacation' as you haven't seen the first movie 'Vacation', and I wouldn't suggest 'Scrooged' if you haven't seen a traditional version of 'A Christmas Carol' as it's a twist on that story.

S M

bad santa for sure.

Johnny Boro

Bad Santa. The grinch. Hot tub Time Machine 😂

J’aurda

Miracle on 34th Street gets the views, just sayin. :D

Frozen Yak

I suggest "Krampus" (2015) which is a horror/comedy Christmas movie, to mix things up a bit. 🙃

Mr. Writhms

“Die Hard” checks all the marks to be a Christmas movie. • Christmas music during the title and end credits. • Christmas expressions used throughout the movie. • The plot takes place during a Christmas event. • A Christmas item utilized at a main plot point. I can say more but I don’t want to spoil anything for the ladies. 😁🎄

Mr. Writhms

Dustin

You can’t pass up Jim Carrey’s Grinch after you’ve watched all his other movies

Joe Laster

My choices for them too.

Dustin

Die Hard is not really a Christmas movie. It's just a movie that happens to take place in December.

Brandon

Bad Santa all the way

murph

Gremlins

Angrytoybox

Want It’s a wonderful life but know it’s gonna be Die Hard. A Christmas Story is a decent movie as well. Thanks for the vote

Snick

Thank you Chi for including us with the poll! Much appreciated! 🫡

fan

Please God, not die hard.

Paul De'Armond

Also TBH "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" may be listed as a Jim Carrey movie, but the original Chuck Jones animation which it is adapted from is the true classic.

James Hull

There are definitely too many good choices on this list! I chose "It's a Wonderful Life" just because its a classic and is the first movie I think of when I think Christmas (except Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, but that's only bc I watched it every year as a child)

James Hull

A small recommendation to maybe watch a few more Christmas movies. Sunday 1st December is the first Advent and the Advent season begins, so you could use Sunday as a Christmas movie day, that would be four movies. And since Christmas Eve falls on a Tuesday, you could react then to the number 1 movie. Of course, this is just a recommendation. Keep up the great work, ladies!💜

Digitalversager

HAS TO BE Die Hard !!!

SlavicGold

I wanna see half of these lol good choices

Grumples

Jingle all the Way

Manospondylus

A Charlie Brown Christmas is also a great movie. Maybe next time lol 😊🎄

Francisco

So many good choices! I went with Die Hard so you can watch the series (or at least Die Harder) for another Christmas movie idea later.

Nathanial House

Bad Santa is an under-rated, mature, Christmas movie. Even if it loses, it's worth a watch

Kyle Turman

Elf and Grinch Please!

Joe Laster
