2024-09-07 05:51:45 +0000 UTCgreat reaction :) so many things to unfold: meeting Stannis and the Red Woman, a bit of Daenerys wandering in the desert, Jon Snow with Night's Watch at the Craster's place with his daughters/wives, Tyrion returning to Capital with Shae, Robb sending his mother to make allies with Renly Baratheon, Theon Greyjoy suggesting he should ask his father Balon Greyjoy for ships, Joffrey murdering Robert's bastards so that he has no competition for the throne -.- a bit shocking at the end, but a great start to Season 2. enjoy the show!

The old man poisoned his own wine and drank from it first to make it look like it wasn't poisoned, then he hoped she would drink and die too, and so he would have sacrificed himself to kill her, but she didn't die after drinking the poison and instead told him that the night is dark and full of terrors, but the fire burns them all away, meaning the lord of light's fire will protect her from harm. This was good for her because it demonstrated to the others that if you truly believe in the lord of light you will be protected from death as she just was.
