The Princess Bride Reaction

The Princess Bride Reaction

Comments

This movie has a great balance of being cheesy/genuine, but also cynicism, like when Princess Buttercup tells the senile King she's going to unalive herself in the honeymoon sweet and all the senile King notices is the kiss she gave him lmao

Paul L Marchand

This movie reminds me of The Mask of Zorro. You might like that movie too.

Anthony Simmons

I would like to see you react to Burn After Reading. It is a comedy, but also action and intrigue, like this but not campy and cheezie. With an all-star cast. It is not the most popular movie, so it will never win a poll. But that is sad, because Burn After Reading is an underrated treasure.

Jay Perry

This is a great reaction.

Jay Perry

Kingpin is a great funny movie that doesn’t get enough attention. I promise you’ll like it. 👍😂

Jim Crawford

Nice! I was hoping you'd watch this one!

Steven Romo

I still to this day use "as you wish" whenever i mean "i love you"

Sollidottingen

Once I was officiating at an outdoor wedding. The bride was keeping everyone waiting. And waiting. In the hot sun. I was standing at the front and I finally couldn't stand it any more. I looked up and said, "Mawidge. Mawidge is what bwings us togewer today." One woman laughed so hard she fell out of her chair.

Tinker Greg

When this came out in 1987, it was the first movie that my wife-to-be and I saw together in the theater. It stayed one of our favorites, and we quoted from it to each other for the next three decades.

Tinker Greg

I haven’t seen you Munchies react to any animated movies yet. May I suggest Ronal the Barbarian (funny adult humor) and also Flushed Away, lots of action and very funny.

Jim Crawford

Great Reacion Movie Munchies! Glad to see y'all enjoyed this all-time classic Movie!

Johnny

I'm happy everyone got to watch something wholesome for a chance. Some pretty intense stuff here and over on asian angels recently.

matthew

I would love to see a reaction to "Jojo Rabbit" by you guys.

William E Cervantes

Don't forget Cary Elwes is also in SAW, which is definitely NOT similar to Princess Bride.

Steven Roy

Labyrinth is one of my all-time favorites!

Brandon

Great reaction girls, my request: Fright Night 1985. The king in The Princess Bride plays the vampire in Fright Night, for October. Thanks.

Ervin Cortez

Best movie of all time.

Eric Muirhead

Liked the masks. You should watch The Mask Of Zorro so you can wear them again

Blackwargreymon00

Though... I didn't seem to notice any distinction of content or quality. I suppose such is only noticeable by viewing with better resolution, larger screen, and/or via any extra features available on the discs.

S_Vive

"Me, Myself, and Irene" is a good Jim Carrey comedy. "Tucker and Dale vs Evil" is a good horror comedy. That might be a good one for Halloween next month. "What we do in the shadows" is another good comedy.

Cornelius P. Stranglefart, Attorney at Law D.D.S.

The Criterion Collection release... a nice touch.

S_Vive

Loved your reactions to this one girls.

fan

Some other fantasy movie suggestions- Labyrinth, Stardust, Big Fish

S M

Oh man, great reaction! Hella would have loved this movie. She's always drawn into the love stories.

Cornelius P. Stranglefart, Attorney at Law D.D.S.

Nice to see Chi in a comedy reaction. INCONCEIVABLE! You have now seen Cary Elwes in Liar Liar, Robin Hood Men in Tights, and the Princess Bride. All comedies. May I suggest you watch Kiss the Girls next? You will be very surprised by his performance in that one. It is a thriller, and it’s a great movie.

Noal McInnis

Yes. Even the sequel is really damned funny.

Looney

I would love to see the reaction to 40 Year Old Virgin, that movie is so funny but also sweet.

Steven Roy

I have a fantastic comedy for you. "Meet The Parents" - you'll all LOVE it.

David Collins

You ladies are always so amazingly well dressed. And I love your hair in this one Chi!

Noal McInnis

This movie is a real classic. The fencing scene between Indigo Montoya and the masked Westley is considered one of the best fencing scenes in cinema history.🤺 A comedy I would like to recommend is Jumanji (the original from 1995), a fantastic comedy with Robin Williams. I am sure you will like it.🙂 As always, it was a wonderful reaction ladies and if I may be so bold, you three look beautiful, like princesses.💜

Digitalversager

Truly great movie, one of the classics. I really really, really, REALLY hope they never do a remake. I can only imagine what an abomination that would be. Also I don't think they realize they'd seen Westley before in Liar Liar.

Ryan Alexander

lan looks great in white, but masks look nice too, oh and chi was quite funny this reaction another comedy would be '40 yearold virgin' or and 'horrible bosses' edit:sorry for the double post. my browser crashed

Someone

It's INCONCEIVABLE! A reaction can be so much fun. I've always loved this movie, and it even has a real giant. The giant is played by Andrea, The Giant. He was a professional wrestler and in real life he was 224 centimeters (7 feet 4 inches) and 227 kilos, or about five hundred pounds. This movie is filled with great actors who were in many great movies and television shows, but Prince Humperdink also plays the vampire in a movie called Fright Night. It's not too scary but a lot of fun. William Goldman wrote the book this movie is based on and also wrote the screenplay. He's written many big movies, but was famous in Hollywood for coming on to projects and fixing the scripts for movies that were having troubles. If you're looking for something to read, the book is also a lot of fun. Rob Reiner and William Goldman teamed up again on the film MIsery, which is based on a book by Stephen King. I think Misery is worth a watch, but it is nothing like The Princess Bride. Rob Reiner actually began his character as an actor on a COMEDY TV show called ALL IN THE FAMILY, but he went on to become a really solid director. If you're still looking for comedies to react to I suggest... The Cornetto Trilogy which consists of Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World's End. These comedy films aren't like a normal trilogy, but are three films made by director Edgar Wright and feature the same actors as different characters in the movies. You'd recognized some of the actors in these films, especially Martin Freeman who played Bilbo Baggins in the Hobbit. With Halloween approaching, do you plan to watch any horror movies? Let me know if you need any suggestions.

Steven Roy

Back me up

Blackwargreymon00

Absolutely a classic!

Brandon

Rob Reiner also directed When Harry Met Sally which is a classic romantic comedy, Stand By Me which is more of an emotional drama with some comedy about 4 young boys who go on a journey and Misery which is a very tense thriller, all excellent movies, all quite different from each other, they would all make good reactions.

Jonathan Kidman

Hahahaha I love chi's insatiable appetite for weird things from the movies. 😂A wonderful comedy is "Yes Man" with Jim carrey. :D

N2Joker

My favorite childhood movie

Luke Drumm

this is a really good movie, glad you added to your collection. Can I suggest if you love fantasy movies like this, watch the move "Legend" with Tom Cruise directed by Ridley Scott YOU WILL LOVE THIS

Mark W
