If you want (and for my viewing pleasure) to go back to the world of Tolkien and middle earth, I highly recommend you to watch "The rings of power" episodes. You will understand more of the lore. And don't mind the tasteless naysayers. Rest me to say I very much enjoyed your reactions to this trilogy. Thanks!

2024-08-15 23:49:33 +0000 UTCNow I remember why I don't really remember much of the third Hobbit-movie. There is too much nonsense in it. Too many endless scenes of CGI characters being invincible acrobats while lopping off heads. You lose all sense of danger and it's just visual noise for me. You have these goats that can somehow charge through thousands of orcs without a scratch and the wagon that always lands on the wheels without any of the heroes getting remotely close to any real danger. When they rode their wagon across the back of the troll they had just killed, I couldn't help facepalm from the stupidity. Also... how did work that the huge dwarf army being surrounded by thousands of orcs... but as soon as they got reinforced by a grand total of 13 protagonists they could suddenly just sweep through them. The protagonists are not magical beings, just more dwarves that we happen to know the names of. I love your reactions, but this movie is pretty dumb at times.
