Little Finger told Ned and Lady Stark that the dagger that was used to try and kill Bran belonged to Tyrion. The dagger used to belong to Little Finger but Tyrion won it on a bet. That is why Lady Stark suspected Tyrion of the attempt on Brans life. I see that sometimes you get impatient with the dialog. If you can't be patient and listen to what is being said, you will not be able to understand this show.

Because of that information, Catelyn believes that Tyrion wanted Bran killed. So in this episode when she has the men seize Tyrion, she believes she is capturing the right person.

2024-07-19 18:30:18 +0000 UTCI agree that this TV show gets better and better. There are a lot of characters at first, but you'll get to know everyone, and each character has their own journey. Even the "bad guys" in this show have interesting story arcs and we at least understand why they do bad things. You noticed that Samwell Tarly and Samwise Gamgee have similar names. George RR Martin, the writer of Game of Thrones, is very familiar with Tolkien and the Lord of the Rings, so it's probably no accident that the writer gave Samwell a similar name to Samwise. Maybe in your next reaction, tell us which character you like the most and which character you like the least.
