I don't know if this was supposed to be a Parody or an Homage, but I loved it.

So fun to watch your reactions, you always make me smile.
I would like to recommend "Young Frankenstein" was made in 1979 if I remember correctly, a really great comedy staring the amazing Gena Wilder and directed by Mel Brooks.

Let the Right One In (2008) is the original Swedish film, with Let Me In (2010) being the American remake. Both films are based on the 2004 novel of the same name by John Ajvide Lindqvist.

I am glad you watched this movie; I haven't seen it in a while, loved your reaction girls, especially Tien battling sleepiness, ha-ha I remember long time ago I got out of my job at 4Pm and went to see a movie at 5 pm, then I got the ticket, sat, the movie started, watched the first 10 minutes and closed my eyes, later I opened my eyes at the end credits of the movie, when the letters at the end started rolling up, I was like, Oh my gush, I paid for sleeping 2 hours in this theater, lol never forget that, I hope I didn't snore but a suggestion, If Tien falls sleep next time, don't wake her up, let's see how long it last, lol the movie I fell sleep in that time was "American Gangster" and the following week I went back to see it and didn't fall sleep. I enjoyed it.

Couldn't agree more. While I enjoy campy/bad movies for what they are, this one was just so boring. Thank God for their commentary.

it's a testament to how entertaining you girls are to watch that you made this awful movie watchable, although I think Tien was getting a bit sleepy in the middle there, watching her try to stay awake was more entertaining then anything happening in the movie, although it seems you two still had fun with it so i'm glad, for good vampire movies I think Blade (1998) and Blade II (2002) are pretty great action movies, I also enjoy Let Me In (2010) if you want a more emotional vampire movie.

Dog Soldiers and An American Werewolf in London are a must

Dog Soldiers. Forgot about that one. There was also Ginger Snaps but not sure what to think about that one.

During the watching of the reaction vid I had thought about adding a comment for werewolf films too, but instead just kept going with the viewing.
Silver Bullet has always been one of the favorites of my late childhood.
The only werewolf film that comes to mind for adding to your comment would be Dog Soldiers.
(In the city I grew up in there was a tv channel with its call-sign the same as your username.)

Werewolf movies> Silver Bullet, An American Werewolf in London, and Underworld is good too. The Howling, The Company of Wolves.

The Northman and The Last of the Mohicans would be good.

Yep, they've got at least a few to watch, what with 30 Days of Night, Blade, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Fright Night, Interview With The Vampire, Lost Boys, Near Dark, Stake Land, and Underworld... just for a handful that come to mind for most of us patrons.

Yeah, Oldman can really transform himself into a spectrum of other characters with a minimum of makeup & costume effect... and with Zorg being one of his crazier portrayals, it isn't that unexpected for them to have missed the actor-association with that role.
(I can hardly wait until they get around to witnessing the force-of-spectacle that is agent Norman Stansfield.)

Great reaction! Try watching a movie called the LOST BOYS, or 30 Days of Night!

The start of this movie blends together three completely unrelated stories. Dracula (the basis of modem vampire stuff), Frankenstein, and Dr Jackel and Mr Hyde (the big guy he was fighting in the church tower) are three books from the 19th century from the same genre. But that's the only connection.
You should watch 'The Brothers Grimm' (2005). You'll like it,

if you really want to convince them to watch Bram Stoker's Dracula from 1992, just tell them Keanu Reeves is the star they seem to be a fan (Constantine, Matrix, John Wick, etc), it was around the time his movie career really started to take off and become successful.
I agree it is the best film adaptation, and is a compelling watch at least in my view. Other stars they may recognise are Anthony Hopkins (Silence of the Lambs) and Gary Oldman (Sirius Black in Hary Potter), and Gary Oldman also played the bad guy in Fifth Element but I don't think they noticed lol, he is a very accomplished actor in a load of movies.

while it is somewhat entertaining i would hardly describe this movie as a good movie, a little bit too much overacting and silliness in this for my taste.

Another awesome reaction.💜
It's so cool to see how immersed you are while watching the movie.
The original Van Helsing was less of an action hero than Hugh Jackman in this movie.
If you're more interested in Dracula and Van Helsing, I recommend Bram Stoker's Dracula from 1992. The movie is considered one of the best film adaptations of the original novel.
If you want to see more vampire and werewolf fights, the Underworld movies are really good.

If you want to continue the vampire/werewolf journey, watch Underworld. The same actress who played Anna in this movie is a vampire in Underworld. It’s a lot better than Twilight.

Great reaction.
There is a short 30-minute animated prequel to this movie called Van Helsing: The London Assignment (2004).

Tien: “Yeah! Burn in hell bitch!”
