This is a great movie and your reaction was wonderful again ladies.💜
If you want to see more of Matt Damon, I can recommend the Bourne trilogy, plus Jason Bourne and the Bourne Legacy.
The last one doesn't have Matt Damon in it but it's still great.

This is a fun movie. I like that it sticks to mostly really good science, except for exaggerating the sand storms for the sake of plot. Consider reacting to Die Hard and Ghostbusters :)

Wonderful reaction like always looking forward to your next.
If I may make a suggestion I think you would enjoy the movie "Young Frankenstein" It's a comedy and was released in 1974, directed by Mel Brooks who also played a part in the movie. With the amazing Gene Wilder taking center stage.

Damn if they have not scene those 3 movies then it is a must. Tho I do think they should also read the books in there own time. So much was missing from the movies.

botanist = plant scientist
Mars's atmosphere is mainly carbon dioxide. It has only about 1% the density of Earth's atmosphere. In reality, the strongest winds on Mars, about 100kmh, would feel like a 1km/h breeze.
The 'Pathfinder' thing was a real probe that was sent to Mars in the 1990s.
The rocket that he travels to at the end wasn't the same launch site as in the beginning. Some of the real-world proposed plans for landing on Mars call for sending an unmanned return rocket ahead of humans. The movie uses this idea. Ares 4 site was put there to be the return ride for a future mission.
If you liked this kind of movie then you should watch Gravity (2013).

I just want to say, your channel has inspired me to do my own reaction videos with my Southeast Asian spouse. We have polar opposite personalities and are from opposite sides of the earth. Her reactions would be very similar to yours. Thank you for your great videos.

Mars atmosphere, at least for practical life-support purposes, is without oxygen... with next to no atmospheric pressure. Without the suits providing a sealed & pressurized environment complete with proper oxygen mixture, Watney and the others could not survive.

Mark is left behind by the crew because they couldn't locate his body and his suit integrity was compromised (unsealed) causing a loss of pressure & oxygen according to the crewship monitoring system... upon their estimate that Watney could only survive that for 1 minute and not having located him in that time, they were forced to leave before the ship was knocked over by the winds.

A martian storm packing the force of 8,600 Newtons... that's too many delicious fig cookies for even Brian Regan to eat.
No wonder they had to bail on the landing site.

Last time you ladies watched a movie that had 'galaxy' scenes to peacefully look at... turned out to be ALIEN.
But lucky enough, not this time.
