Entertaing to watch the girls reaction to this great movie but honestly they had no clue what was going on 90% of the time lol

My mom when she saw this movie didn't understand it and she was American. Quentin Tarantino likes to make movies like this where the scenes are not in order. So you saw part of the end in the beginning and things in random order. A few things. The reason why Vince was bit upset that she got the $5 shake is because back then it's crazy that any drink is so expensive that does not have alcohol. Now is normal to see a shake that maybe will cost $5 or more but back then I think maybe less than $1 or maybe $1.50. So he was saying that shake must be the best in the world to be so expensive. The guy that played Jimmy is Quentin Tarantino he made the movie. A pot belly is when someone is really fat like a man who has a big belly. The girl is just very weird but this is the type of movies that Quentin Tarantino makes. lol Oh and Vince was sent to Butch apartment to kill him. Vince and Jules that's their job. They are assassins for Marcellus Wallace. They will go and kill whoever he sends them to kill. A lot of the conversations are funny in American humor like the foot massage and all those things. They are all supposed to be funny dialogue. The joke about the tomato btw, is not just "Ketchup." but also "catch up" because he was too slow and behind them, so papa tomato said ketchup .. like "catch up" so he move faster but .. It's not a very funny joke I guess. :)

2024-03-23 08:19:27 +0000 UTCThe dialogue in Tarantino movies is so natural and entertaining and really adds to the immersion, but I can see how it can make the movie a little confusing for first time viewers as most of it is unrelated to the plot. And it doesn’t help that the movie is out of order. A very enjoyable reaction though!

2024-03-18 08:20:39 +0000 UTCThe reason Mia overdosed was because she found Vincent's heroin and mistook it for cocaine. Heroin is MUCH stronger than cocaine. The deal between Mr. Wallace and Butch at the start of the movie was for Butch to intentionally lose the boxing fight. Crime bosses often arrange illegal betting. When other people hear rumors that Butch was supposed to lose the started betting on the other guy, which affect the betting odds and the payouts for winning. But Butch intended to betray Wallace and had a friend bet money on him winning. That caused Wallace to lose a lot of money when Butch didn't lose like he had agreed to. That's why he was so mad and why he sent his goon (Vincent) to kill Butch. Vincent was waiting to kill him when Butch came to get the gold watch.
