13. This adaptation is somewhat historical but for the cinemas its been changed up just a little bit. And you asked why he put that hot iron onto that wound, its actually an old way to seal off blood vessels known as cauterization or just cauterize a wound. Robert the Bruce's father was dying from Leprosy. Lol the woman in red, I'm not sure how to pronounce your name but one of your favorite words is, "Go to hell". Lol you say that a lot when you get caught up in the movie. Here are a few good ones to consider since you've been on a role with war movies. Enemy at the Gates, The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999), Excalibur(1981), and Windtalkers(2002).

Just to let you know, the whole 'Prima Nocta' thing is BS. Never happened.

Mel Gibson made "Passion of the christ" too - its a pretty famous movie if you want to react to it.

Such a great reaction.

The fight for freedom still rages to this very day. It is an eternal fight that none of us can ignore. My reaction to Gladiator is very much like this reaction. Point is that freedom is not really free. We gain it through much sacrifice...even in blood. It must be EARNED. Try reacting to Frequency...a really very super movie!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing reaction as always. I hate to see Hella cry so much, but at the same time, it shows what a genuinely sweet person she is. And I knew this movie would get to Chi as well. You two are the best reactors out there.

Uncle Phoenix

Awesome reaction, I enjoyed it very much. Brian Cox played William's Uncle Argyle. You previously saw Brian as King Agamemnon in Troy (2004). Angus Macfadyen played Robert the Bruce. Angus played the role once again in Robert the Bruce (2019).

This was a great reaction! If you like Mel Gibson's style, I'd strongly recommend reacting to We Were Soldiers or the Patriot. We Were Soldiers is based off of Lt. Colonel Hal Moore during the Battle of la Drang. This movie received praise for its ability to show respect to both sides of the war, not just to the American side. The Patriot takes place during the American Revolution, and shows a little bit of the struggle the Americans faced against the British.

An all-around enjoyable movie... just be aware that some rather large liberties were taken with the historicity of locations, timeframes, ages of people portrayed, etc. But still hugely entertaining.
