MP Development Update #2

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to post a quick update on what I've been working on and a bit of info regarding the release.

So lately I've been working on the animations in the game (left the 'best' for last, huh), because this time they are proper 30 FPS animations. It's a new thing to me and the tools aren't perfect either, but I'm doing what I can, hopefully it will still be good enough. All I can say is that I like how they are turning out so far:)

I have to take a lot of time out of my own work to talk over the coding stuff and also the UI. While that's not really important right now, and certainly isn't going to be the final element, I'm just a UI maniac, so I at least want you guys to have something that's pleasing to look at and use.

I'm aiming for about 8-10 animations in this release if I don't run into any trouble. I'm curious to find out how you like them and of course I'll be more than happy to hear the feedback after the release.

About the release:

So I was going to release on the 31st of this month, but after giving it much thought I decided to go for 1 day later, February 1st, so I can properly hand out the Early Access reward for the Elite tier - and also it's generally much better to have releases at the beginning of the month rather than at the end.

BUT WAIT!

Of course if you pledged this month to get the release but can't continue in February, don't worry, I got you! Everyone who pledged in at least the scientist tier or above in January will receive the first release of Midnight Paradise in February, and also get the extras or the Elite access if they are eligible.

That 1 day push really makes it easier for me to handle releases in the future and I think it's only fair to do it this way. So, official release date February 1st!
