The first page of Youthrift pt 3.
We pick up right were we left off. This one page has been quite the hurdle. It's often the first step which can be the most debilitating. I have never, and I mean NEVER, enjoyed perspective, and I think it's the angle of the "camera" in the first panel. That overhead nature makes the crib a whole other can of worms. For someone who hates drawing perspective, cribs are like my worst fucking nightmare. So many parallel and perpendicular lines... Ughh... I've always hated geometry.
Have to remember to limit the amount of times I need to draw perspective fuckery like that in the future, and the ones that I have been needing to draw I'm keeping simple. I'd rather it look a little sloppy than have something like that hold me up.
I will be posting something soon to show what a difference 3 years can make...
More to come soon!
