[December Schedule and Reflection] It was too hard a November...
Added 2022-11-30 07:08:46 +0000 UTCThank you for your continued support!
Following on from October, this month has been a little too hard for me to do the things I have been doing in the past, such as updating articles and watching Twitter...! I didn't think I would be this busy, so it was completely unexpected.
My schedule for December will probably look something like this.
・ Video and article production (probably 2 or 3)
・ painting for WF winter (1 project)
I would like to work on commisions behalf if I can, but it will probably be tough....
So,Here is a review of November.
I had planned my schedule with a certain amount of leeway, but something unexpected happened in my personal life and I had to stop working for a week.
│I have seen a little bit of hell.
I had to work on the color and the eye-piece for a long time, and I couldn't decide on the color and the eyepaint properly due to lack of sleep and lack of checking the materials.
I actually worked on about 4 pieces this month. All of them had to be completed by the end of November, so I worked on them while cutting down on sleep.
・ For companies
・ For dealers For TFO
・ Revers bunny Miya-kun (2 type)
The schedule for the corporate project was supposed to be reasonably flexible, but I injured my hand and had some personal problems, so it was hard for me to make it to the end of the schedule.
Furthermore, the eye paint was not decided properly and the schedule was tight, so when we decided to use decals, they were too large and could not be used...so we had to redraw them all night long and managed to get the OK.
I was so anxious and impatient that I thought I was going to die....
The other project was ready to start painting in early November, but due to various circumstances, the start of work was delayed until the 20th, so we started working on the TFO dealership project and the corporate project in parallel.
The confirmation was very fast, very thorough, and very easy to understand, and the level of supervision was very helpful. I have not finished the matte coat yet, so I will do that from now on...
The two Mya-kuns are reverse bunny ver. sculpted by Sheltie-san. Shoko sent me the 2 types printed kit. I painted in between so that they could be displayed at the "Tonari no Mokei Festival (Dec. 4)" .

When I sent them packed in urethane sponge as usual, both of them broke their forelocks in a shipping accident I did not expect.
And the reverse bunny Shoko that I had sent with them was also damaged... Apparently, it was not a good idea to send them assembled. The output parts are not flexible like resin, so no matter how much sponge I use to absorb the shock, it seems to be meaningless....
So I had them send it back to me and I managed to repair it, and this time I sent it out in disassembled condition.
Miya-kun was delivered safe and sound, but for some reason a small part of Shoko's broke even though she was taking it apart.
No matter how carefully we make a product, it is no good if it is ruined by a transportation accident.... I promised myself that if I ever transport a finished printed kit in the future, I would definitely take it apart and send it back.
So, November went by in a flash when I was painting four bodies like this. Anyway, I can say that all the problems I had have been facing have been somehow cleared, so I can say that I am somehow in a situation where I can pat my chest.
Hmmm? There are still videos and photos...oh, yes...there is still a lot of work to be done...
I have a job with a deadline, so even if it comes in December, that will still be my priority. So, I will not be able to work on your behalf until February or later. Sorry...!
┃Easy to go, but what about to return?
As a side note, shooting the shots for the review and editing the entire video takes roughly 20 hours or more, but considering the balance between my labor costs and advertising revenue from the video, I'm usually in the red.
So I can't easily tell people that they should do videos! I would like to outsource the editing work, but it is not easy to raise the funds for that.
It would be more apologetic to have someone else do this cut-and-paste editing. This is even more so since there are no creative elements except for the review shots.
That's why I can't thank you enough for all your support.
I'm seriously thinking of putting a scrolling screen name in the video, but I'm not sure if there are people who don't want me to show it, so it's something to think about. I'm hoping to make it look like it fits the mood of the video, but...what do you think?
November was a really tough month for me, but there are people who support me and are waiting for my work, so I will continue to do my best.
Oh, and if you have any article requests, please feel free to send them to me via comments or messages.

Thank you sooo much!! Of course, I will not force myself to do so in the future. I had to push myself this time because the situation wasn't quite right. haha

2022-12-02 15:00:16 +0000 UTCThank you, I really appreciate it. I really can't help myself when I am busy, but I try to take care of my health whenever possible. Indeed, there is not much information on how to transport finished products, so I hope to be able to tell you in the future about my mistakes as well.

2022-11-30 18:32:52 +0000 UTCSukima san, thank you very much for your hard work! Please make sure to stay healthy ^^ Reading this, I am interested in an article about shipping finished works. I'm sure there are a lot of precautions to make sure the pieces are safe, preventing paint transfer/chips, deciding whether to glue or not glue, and more interesting points!
