Sad story, caused by a „feature“ of DazStudio.

I created a 900 frame animation over the last days and put quite some work in it. It should become a lead up to the last animation, with Lanya on the bed, inserting the victim. When working on details of the animation, the keyframes become so small you have to actually zoom in to work on them. Now DAZ decided to only save what actually is in focus, so upon saving my work, zoomed in to frames 1-300 all keys after frame 300 are lost, destroying 2/3 of my work. Without any notice DAZ overwrote the save file.

Upon realizing the data loss the next time I opened the file, I felt devastated and tried to recover the overwritten save files with a recovery program, but to no use, the files were already corrupted.

The good news is, I rendered a 600 frames test animation, I will upload it in the next days after cutting it together.

Soooo, biiiiig lesson learned. Stay healthy.
