Procedural Ambience System
Added 2024-06-07 07:04:41 +0000 UTCIn my opinion sound is as important as visuals. I've made a procedural ambience system that places/adjusts ambient sounds depending on the surrounding environment/weather conditions. No more generic looping background ambience round here.
Headphones recommended.

This sounds great so far! To improve even further on the immersion, I suggest adding real birds and frogs that produce the sounds

2024-06-10 06:10:47 +0000 UTCMaybe. I'm am still unsure about how I'm going to approach a map system atm

2024-06-10 06:10:35 +0000 UTCWoah, that's awesome. I agree on sound being just as important as visuals; I always find it extremely jarring when there's no ambiance in a game-- even the looping track was far better than having nothing. Thank you so much for doing this!
