Big Changes Update!

TL;DR: Tier revamping, price and billing changes starting next month! More content and new kinds of content!

The Long Version:

After much deliberation and exploring options, I've come to the conclusion that to keep my business growing (and shrinking, har har), I have to change the way I do things. Focusing all my energy into big projects that take months to complete is just not cost-effective. I'm not going to stop making them, but I am going to make time for smaller render sets and short stories/comics, which means more frequent and consistent content!

So beginning in September, these will be the new Tiers:

What You Get:

Gigantic - Tier 1 - $12.99

• Guaranteed Monthly:

  • Early Access to public renders

  • Exclusive Renders and Short Series

    You know those one-off renders I post on DeviantArt? I want to do more with those. Alternate angles, continuation sequences, short stories, etc.

• Semi-Regularly:

  • Short Comics & Illustrated Stories

  • Short VR Videos ( <10 minutes)

    I'm confident that I can have short stories on a monthly basis, but it is a new thing for me, and I don't want to over promise.
    Some projects may take me longer than a month to complete, but you'll have exclusive access as I complete them!

• BTS Content

  • Test Renders

  • Character Designs

  • Previews of upcoming projects

• Polls & Suggested Prompts

Colossal - Tier 2 - $19.99

Feature Length Stories and Videos (the big projects that become products for sale) will be in this Tier instead.

• Feature Length Illustrated Stories/Comics

• Feature Length VR Videos (~15 minutes or longer)

• Monthly Rotation of one previous Feature Length Story/Video
  Every month, you'll get access to one previous story or VR video, chosen at random and cycling through my entire library of work!

To stay within Patreon's terms, I may need to start hosting my work on a different site and just link to it from here. Probably on Mega or Sync.
I also have plans to start selling subscriptions through DeviantArt. The price and content will be the same.

Relevant Changes for Those Currently Subscribed:

• Price

  • The current $10 Tier will become the new 'base' tier at $12.99.

  • For those currently subscribed to the $10 Tier, if you stay subscribed, the price change won't go into effect until October. Basically, you get one month of the new Tier benefits at your current price of $10.

• Billing Cycle

  • Instead of being billed on the first of the month, you'll now be billed on the same day of the month you subscribed. You'll only notice the difference if you cancel your sub and start up again at a later date.
    This is a Patreon-wide change that they're implementing, so I might as well get on it early.

• For anyone subbed through the iOS app:
  Apple and Patreon got some kind of beef and so anyone subbed through the iOS app is going to be charged 30% more. I don't fuckin' know. If you're subbed through the iOS Patreon app, you can just cancel and re-up through the desktop site.

Store

I spent so fucking long looking for and comparing options for a good platform to replace Gumroad, and I've come to the conclusion... that there just isn't one. Either it would be against their TOS or there are file size limits that make it impossible to sell VR videos or the fees are greater than the arrangement I have with Giantess Katelyn. So product sales will be exclusive to Katelyn's website for now.

So what do you all think? I'm feeling really good about changing things up. It's going to allow me to explore new ideas and create more art on a regular basis.
