Hello my beloved and also sexy Patreon subscriber! Just wanted to make a post clarifying how the feedback process works between you and me, so we can both have the smoothest experience possible!
Feedback occurs over Discord only for now. After joining my Discord server, you can find my account in the #welcome-and-rules channel. I'll have the CamaCon role and my name should be a cyan colour. I'm usually awake between 10:00 -> 12:00 GMT+2, so I'll be responding to your feedback requests between those times at my earliest convenience.
If you want feedback from me, you can receive it in two ways:
1. DM your song to me directly - If you want a private exchange between you and I, my DM's are always open and you can send me something at any time of the day! I'll respond during my aforementioned waking hours as soon as I can.
2. Send it in the #music-wips channel in my server and ping me - I have a channel where anybody in my server can share their WIPs for everyone to listen to and comment on. You're invited to do so as well! If you share something there and specifically want feedback from me on it, please ping me so I can know that's what you'd like. If you post something and don't ping or DM me about it, I'll assume you're just posting it for fun and I may or may not comment on it.
Communication on what you want from my feedback is important and very encouraged!
Before sending me anything, I suggest deciding on which elements of the song you want me to focus or comment on the most. These could be areas you're struggling with or the ones you're unsure about. You might also want to consider how detailed you want my feedback to be. Would you like a short, passing comment on something, or focused, intricate analysis on whole track? Communicating this helps me deliver the best feedback I can for you, while also setting good expectations and boundaries between us.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. If you have suggestions for different platforms or mediums to receive feedback through, send me a message or comment on this post and I'll look into it!
