press your luck 10

The next morning Harlow woke at his usual time, prepared himself for the day and then Danny’s breakfast. He normally would grumble at having to cook Danny dinner and breakfast, but after last night he was on cloud nine. His smile was genuine for once as he cooked something special for Danny. The other reason, which he would never admit to Danny, was that he wanted to give him a special thank you for helping him out last night by taking that job. It helped him get in Jefferson’s good graces and he didn’t think he could get out of his debt entirely but it might go a long way to help him getting out of skirts and heels while he paid off his debt…somehow.

He could probably pay it off in one night if he had enough cash to go to any number of casinos that still let him in. Valerie immediately took the hundred Naomi had given him for babysitting. Claiming it paid her back for two pairs of heels. At the time he didn’t care, he was walking on air after their brief makeout session. So what she thought he was a trans woman. If it got him into her pants then he’d bark like a puppy for her if he had to.

“Hey, girly.” Valerie smiled as she walked into the kitchen noting that Lucy had already washed and did her makeup without her prompting. ‘It’s astonishing how quickly a habit can be formed.’ She thought she would have to make note of that for later to show her professor.

“Morning, sleepyhead.” Harlow giggled.

Valerie giggled, “I’m surprised you got up without me.”

Harlow shrugged, “I had a good night.” Not only was the prospect of having sex with a woman less of a headache than the myriad of men who wanted him all of a sudden, but Danny didn’t come home until almost four, meaning he got to sleep alone again for the most part. At first it was frustrating, his mind bounced back and forth between worry for his friend and arousal for Naomi. It seemed like as he was just about to fall asleep he’d feel the glue pulling against his skin and he’d be awake for another few minutes. But once he finally fell asleep he was out like a light, so much so he barely noticed Danny rolling him to the other side of the bed.

“Oh? Did you and Danny finally…?” She let the question hang in the air.

“No!” He rolled his eyes. She was always joking about Danny and him getting together growing up, and now, in a way they were but not really. So he wouldn’t need to ask Danny’s permission to sleep with anyone he wanted to, ‘Of course, he thought, it would be a good idea to keep in his back pocket if Harry ever tries anything again.’ After he got home he got strange messages from Harry about Jerking him off. Or “Take care of the lil man” or some variation of that. He couldn’t wait until Danny saw those texts, he’d probably kick his ass.

“Ah, maybe soon.” She half hugged Harlow. He wanted to argue that it would never happen and it was beyond being unfunny at this point, but she spoke before he could, “What’cha making?”

“Apple cream cheese scones.” He smiled proudly.

“Really?!”

“Yeah! I found a recipe in one of those magazines.”

“Well they smell great.” She smiled, peeking into the oven, indulging her senses on their sweet aroma. “I can’t wait to have some.”

“They’re for Danny.” He giggled, feeling his face blush a deeper shade of red than the apples, “I made us pancakes.”

“Aww,” She giggled, it was actually pretty sweet seeing Lucy dote on Danny. “But now you got me in the mood for something sweet.”

“They’re chocolate chipped.” He knew he looked like some doting girlfriend baking for her boyfriend but he really wasn’t. He had few ways to thank his friend these days and he found he was enjoying baking. Normally he’d call up Candy to show him a good time, but he didn’t have enough for that unless he found a way to make his own money without Valerie’s interference. ‘But maybe she can be the one who joins me and Naomi.’ He thought with a perky smile. Naomi the dark skinned milf, pressed up against the pale freckled skin of the sexy red-headed escort. The two buxom beauties kissing and inviting him to come to bed with them. That would be the dream.

Speaking of the devil, the pair heard Danny’s heavy feet trodding along the floor to the bathroom. “Ugh! They’re not done yet!” Harlow groaned.

“How much longer?”

“Like, three minutes.”

“Stay here, I’ll distract him until they’re ready. But I want one, deal?”

“Fair.” Valerie hurried off and after a minute he could hear talking in the hall. ‘Ugh, why’s time so slow sometimes!’ he growled. He had the plan all thought out, Danny would wake up and come into the dining room and see them on the table. Danny was always a good friend, plenty of people, even Harlow’s own mother, said he was too nice to Harlow for what little he gave back to him.

Another minute passed and Valerie came back into the kitchen, “Okay so-”

“What are you doing?” Harlow hissed, taking the pastry out of the oven. “Where’s Danny?”

“It’s okay. I told Danny to shave.”

“Oh good, that should buy us a couple of minutes.” ‘Us?’ Harlow shook it off and slid the scones onto a large plate and hurried them into the dining room.

“Hey, I needed to talk to you real quick.”

“Shoot.” He said, fanning the plate with an oven mitt.

“You’ve been doing great being Danny’s girlfriend.”

“Thanks.” Harlow rolled his eyes, rushing back into the kitchen.

“Yeah, the only thing I think you need to work on is being more caring.”

Harlow stopped, “What? I care. He’s my fr-my boyfriend.” She acted like she was in a good mood but he didn’t need to give her ammo or opportunity to flip that switch.

“Yeah. Caring, like,...okay remember after the poker game he had a hangover?”

“Not as bad as mine.” He giggled.

“Yeah,” she giggled, “But it’d seem strange to other people if you didn’t take care of him when he’s hurting.”

“Okay? Like what? You want me to bring him aspirin and a shot?”

“No, more like…how you helped Henry last night.”

“I don’t think Danny believes magic water is a thing.”

“No, but your tone. The way you said it was so sweet and motherly, it made him feel safe and cared for.”

“You want me to baby Danny?”

“Oh, honey.” Valerie put an arm around Harlow, “All men are babies at some point.”

“Sounds condescending.”

“Ah ah! That’s not a word you know Lucy.”

Harlow fought to keep his eyes from rolling out of his head, “Okay. Look, I’ll be more caring. But I’m not changing his giant diapers.”

“Fair.” She smirked.

Harlow finished setting the final plate of pancakes down along with the various juices for everyone when Danny walked into the dinning room. Harlow’s smile dropped seeing the brace on his friend’s wrist. “What happened?!” He gasped as he rushed to Danny’s side.

“Eh, some lil guy thought he was tougher than he was. It’s no big deal.” He waved it off with his free hand. Valerie cleared her throat. Harlow frowned for a moment but quickly turned it into a pout.

“You got hurt.” He cooed.

“N-nah.” he blushed, scratching the back of his head.

“Does this hurt?” Harlow caressed Danny’s wrist gently.

Danny swallowed the lump in his throat, “N-no.” ‘What the hell is she doing?’ He asked himself as Lucy touched him and cooed in that breathy and sexy Marilyn Monroe voice.

“You’re a bad liar.” He said softly. “But I can fix it.”

“Y-yeah?”

Harlow nodded. He didn’t wanna do this but Valerie clearly expected it out of him now, he was already doing so much for Danny…he wasn’t the type to get hurt often so hopefully this wouldn’t come up often. Harlow brought his lips to Danny’s wrist brace and kissed it gently.

Danny’s eyes widened suddenly and he looked to his sister who simply shrugged in silence. ‘Was Lucy playing?! Surely this is an act, right? Lucy doesn’t actually feel-’ his mind stopped as her soft red lips kissed his fingers. Danny ignored the slight pain it caused and instead focused on the beautiful girl gently kissing every one of his fingers as his heart pounded.

“Better?” She asked looking up to him batting her long lashes. Danny nodded, trying to fight the goofy grin from spreading to his face. “Good.” She said softly, “I wanted to, like, thank you for last night…but I guess now it’s, like an apology since you got hurt.”

“No.” He said just as softly, “I’m feeling…so much better.” He bit his lip as he pulled Lucy closer into his body and kissed her lips, really grateful he listened to his sister and shaved first. He’d usually shave every other day but he knew some girls didn’t like the scratchy feel of his five o’clock shadow.

Danny broke the kiss and Lucy giggled, he loved how she did that more and more as they kissed. His sister obviously thought they were cute judging by her swooning and giggling. “A-anyway,” She blushed, “I made you something special for breakfast.”

On the table Danny saw a large plate of apple cream cheese scones and a large glass of milk. “You made this?” He asked in astonishment. Lucy was many things, he was finding out, but a cook didn’t appear to be one of them.

“She did, all by herself. She said she wanted to take care of her man.” Both girls giggled.

‘Girls, man.’ he thought to himself before sitting at the table.

Harlow sat awkwardly across from Danny, he kissed Danny’s wrist like his mother had kissed his bruises and scrapes growing up. When he looked to Valerie to see if it was enough, she shook her head. He thought maybe if he kissed Danny’s fingers it would be enough, he felt his friend flinch as his lips first touched a finger so he made sure to be more careful and slow with the next few kisses. “Better?” He whispered, not wanting Valerie to hear the humiliation in his voice. Danny nodded, but he could tell he was lying. As humiliated as Harlow felt, he felt worse that something had happened to his friend. Not that it was his fault. He warned Danny, tried to talk him out of it, and even flat out told him the night before not to do anything stupid but he did anyway. Knowing Danny he was probably rescuing a puppy on the dance floor and some whale stepped on his wrist. Even though it wasn’t his fault…he still felt bad for his friend. So now a thank you breakfast became an apology. He didn’t expect Danny to kiss him and he felt himself giggling nervously when he finally let go. He wanted to tell Danny to fuck off, but after everything, and with Valerie sitting right there, it was better to just let it pass.

Over breakfast Harlow gave Valerie and Danny a brief and edited rundown of his adventures in babysitting. Leaving out the fact Naomi asked him to have sex with him of course. “And I don’t know what happened, but I’m sure the kid hates me.”

“I doubt it,” Danny held Harlow’s hand, trying to sooth his girlfriend’s worries. “It happens more often than you’d think.”

“Yeah but we just had meatballs.”

“You’d be surprised what could have dairy in it,” Danny continued, “apparently some places that don’t clean their grills after melting some cheese can be enough to do it.”

“That little bit could do it?”

“In some cases. He has to be careful around a lot of things. He can't even have certain chocolate.”

“He can’t?”

“Milk chocolate.” Valerie nodded.

Harlow pouted as a thought crossed his mind,“...is uh…is chocolate chips in cookies…milk chocolate?”

“Yes…” Valerie glared at the bimbo burying his face in his hands.

“Oh my god! I poisoned a child.” Harlow cried. He never wanted kids for this exact reason. So many things could go wrong that could permanently scar a child in a way you could never make better. While he was imagining the anger and hatred not only Henry must have felt towards him, but Naomi and Collins too, he felt a strong arm wrap around his shoulders.

“Hey,” Danny said softly, pulling Lucy into him, “you didn’t poison him. He’s fine by now.”

Lucy shook her head, “I’m so stupid.”

“You’re not stupid.” He kissed the top of her head, “We’ve all made the mistake, this one was just more severe than most. Usually it just makes him gassy.”

“Yeah?”

“Yeah.” Danny rubbed her bare shoulder, “One time Collins brought Henry with him to poker night and I let him have some of my cheeseburger and”-Danny chuckled at the memory-“and I tell you it was like chemical warfare! I’m talking, war crimes.” Lucy giggled softly. “See, everyone makes mistakes, and he still likes me.”

“I guess.” he pouted, not moving to pull away from Danny. He was actually finding it pretty comforting for some reason.

Valerie watched with a smile, maybe there was more to Harlow than either of them realized. Most straight men wouldn’t kiss another man, let alone suck multiple cocks just because he was told to, and it would go along to explain how Harlow acted in the past. Explained, not excused, but she still wanted to test her latest theory.  “We should go out.”

“Huh?”

“Where?” Danny asked.

“I don’t know, how bout a movie?”

“There was that Bruce Willis movie I wanted to see.”

“Come on, Danny.” Valerie shook her head, “Pick something we can enjoy too.”

“Yeah.” Harlow agreed only because he had a terrible disdain for the actor ever since nine and a half yards.

“Fine.” Danny shook his head, “I’m sure we can find something you girls will like more once we get up there. Sound good?”  He asked the still pouting Lucy whose head was firmly pressed into his side.

Harlow nodded, still deep in thought about Henry.

Ultimately the only movie the three could agree upon was a romantic comedy. Not that they all agreed, but Harlow was outvoted by the siblings as Danny didn’t enjoy anything to do with the latest superhero franchise. Danny took another look at the girl at his side, holding his hand, he still couldn’t believe that she was dressing sexier and sexier for him. What shocked him the most is when they both came out of Valerie’s room. He had heard a bunch of giggling like he used to hear when Valerie and one of her cheerleading friends closed the door to her room. Lucy and Valerie both came out wearing velvet v-neck camisole crop tops and matching velvet bodycon mini-skirt, a small chain around their hips. The only difference between the two was the color of their outfits. Valerie wore a simple gray skirt and top that exposed more of her stomach to everyone, and Lucy wore a pink skirt and top that, while exposing less of her stomach, exposed more of her cleavage and simply made her look even girlier than before.

During the movie, Danny sat in the middle between them so he could hold the popcorn. Harlow preferred this as it meant he didn’t have to fake a smile the entire time for Valerie. Of course Danny insisted on holding his hand at first. When Harlow had trouble reaching for popcorn Danny relinquished Harlow’s hand, for a brief moment he thought he was free until he felt Danny’s arm wrapping around his shoulder again and pulling him into his chest.

Between the darkness of the theater, the boredom from the movie, and the warmth of Danny Harlow found himself drifting off to sleep.

Harlow’s tongue flicked at Naomi’s breasts as she pressed her hands against his flat chest while she rode his cock. “Fuck, that feels amazing!” She moaned.

“I’ve missed this!” He moaned, sitting up on the desk he was suddenly on he gripped her smooth back, pulling her even closer into him, and buried his face in her chest. Her arms wrapped around his head as she bounced up and down on his lap, one hand ran through his short hair, the other clawed at his back, the other gripped his hips on each side. It took a moment for his consciousness to catch up with the sudden change in his dream. Naomi was in his lap, he was sitting on a desk in his old homeroom and now a pair of men’s hands were pulling him into his lap. Turning back his long hair flowed like water down his shoulders. Harry smirked as he sat naked with his cock at full attention. “What the hell are you doing?”

“Shh.” He ordered and forced Harlow into a kiss while he played with Harlow’s enlarged chest. Lucy gasped as Harry tweaked her nipple hard. It hurt at first but…

Harlow woke up about twenty minutes later, panting in the dim lighting, his heart racing. Pushing away from Danny he forced himself to focus on the movie, ignoring his nightmare and the weight of Danny’s arm on his shoulders. The movie passed agonizingly slow but thankfully it did end eventually. Of course Valerie was gushing over how romantic the movie was. “And when he gave her the bicycle bell…” Valerie choked up, “I couldn’t help but cry.” She pulled on Harlow’s arm, pressing her breast into his bare shoulder.

“Really? You didn’t think it was kinda…stupid?”

“Stupid?!” She gasped, “It was more than just a bell, you got that right?”

“I mean, I guess. Something about the bike she had as a kid or something.”

“Yes, but it was the innocence she thought she lost!”

“Okay, but…it’s a stupid gift. He could’ve given her something nicer.”

“Like what?”

“I don’t know, jewelry. Pretty things.” Harlow shrugged, girls like shiny things they could show off, that much he knew. Who’s gonna show off a bicycle bell?

“I thought it was sweet.” Danny said quietly.

“See, even Danny gets it.”

“All I know is I wouldn’t jump into a wedding after a gift like that.” Harlow huffed and walked out of the theater wanting to end the dumb argument.

“Your girl’s a bit materialistic.”

“I guess.”

“Better get her a pretty ring then if you plan on proposing.”

“Shut up.” Danny blushed when Valerie giggled. She was always teasing him about his closeness with Harlow. It may have been nice to see her happier than she had been the last few years with all the smiling and giggling with Lucy she’d been doing and even resurrecting Naomi’s old high school nickname, but he didn’t want to marry Harlow…Lucy had replaced him…‘No, she’s still Harlow.’ He reminded himself as he followed Lucy, watching her ass sway with every step.

As they arrived home none of them noticed the gray Honda sitting across the street until it was too late. Marcus cleared his throat as he walked behind the trio. “Good evening, ladies.” He smiled. When Harlow saw Marcus he hid behind Danny. “Hey, Danny.” He smiled even as he eyed up the girls. Valerie grabbed Lucy’s hand and whispered something Marcus couldn’t make out.

“Hey, Marcus.” Danny stood a little straighter, crossing his arms, making himself look even bigger than he did before, the movement sending a shock of pain through his wrist, but he did his best not to show it. “Can I help you?”

Marcus held up his hands in surrender as the girls tottered on their heels into the house, “I just wanted to talk to you about last night.”

“Is the girl okay?”

“I don’t know. Actually, I’m supposed to offer you an invitation.” He reached into his breast pocket and briefly Danny shifted his feet, relaxing his arms. “My boss, Mr.Jefferson wanted to thank you for last night.” He held out a card with a number and the name of some restaurant, “He said you handled the situation wonderfully and when you’re feeling better he’d like to offer you more work. I already discussed it with your friend the other night. He’s on board.”

“He would be.” Danny looked at the card, “But, I was doing this to help my friend.”

“And you did. You’ve earned an audience with the king, so to speak. He wants to take you and your girl out to dinner next week.”

“How’s that help Harlow?”

“I don’t think you understand what being in his good graces means for your friend.”

“...Will he cancel the debt?”

“You could ask, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.” Danny frowned, “But maybe over a nice bottle of wine you can talk him into taking it easy on your friend.” Danny nodded and tucked the card into his pocket.

“We’ll be there.”

Inside Harlow watched as Danny talked to Marcus, nervously chewing on his pink painted nails. “Eh, stop that.” Valerie slapped his hand away from his face.

“Sorry.” he giggled. Finding a strand of his hair he started twirling it, unconsciously trying to make himself feel better, “What do you think they’re talking about?”

“I don’t know.” Valerie shivered as she thought about how Marcus had leered at her. Originally she suggested they wear matching outfits because it’s something she and her girlfriends used to do when they’d go to the mall and maybe she was feeling a bit nostalgic lately. Plus it would torture Harlow more by giving him two extremely girly options and suggesting they were the only ones. He took the bait and ended up walking around like some red haired barbie. In the end it seemed to backfire on Valerie since it left her more exposed, which she was used to…until Marcus came by, and she remembered why she had stopped dressing that way. “I have an idea that’ll get him to leave.”

“What?” Harlow asked desperately.

“You’re gonna have to trust me, and commit one hundred percent. Can you do that?”

“Anything!”

Danny stuffed the business card into his pocket and sighed, “We’ll be there. But I think…I don’t think this line of work is for me. I’m a pacifist. Harry’s a good guy though.”

Marcus shook his head, “Boss doesn’t want Harry. Boss wants you. Your friend was given the offer as a courtesy.”

“...Clearly I’m out of commission for a little while.”

“The boss is patient. Well, not that patient.” Marcus laughed as if that were supposed to be funny. He stopped when he saw the slutty little redhead mincing out of the front door.

“Daaaniel!” She practically moaned before wrapping her arms around his waist.

“L-Lucy, what are you doing?”

“Come inside.” She pouted, “You, like, promised. Can’t you just, like, talk to your friend later?”

“Promised?” Danny looked at his feminized friend in confusion as one hand slid under his shirt and another pulled at his belt.

“You promised! We’d…ya know.” she giggled, pulling Danny down close enough she could kiss his neck, flicking her tongue across his ear sent shivers all through his body. Letting Danny go she bit her lip hungrily.

“Ah…uh…Lucy…” Danny blushed a bright shade of red as he imagined her fishing his cock out of his pants and taking him in her mouth right then and there.

Marcus laughed, “Hey, don’t let me interfere in a good time. We’ll talk later, Daniel.” He winked. “You two have fun.” He smirked knowingly as he walked back to the gray Honda.

Lucy relinquished Danny’s belt with a loud snap, grabbing his large hand and pulling him into the house. “Come on, I’m tired of waiting.” Her voice cooing and oozing sex and hunger.
