The saliva of a nariok is highly transformative, the big problem are their teeth tho. A nariok can not bite a victim without falling into a bloodrush, that could easily kill it. for that reason, nariok scientists invented multiple ways to transform others into sharks like theirselves.

The most effective way were syntethic sea-slugs, filled with nariok TF-material. These slugs also have an ultra-sticky slime, what makes them very hard to remove from a body as they slowly slither towards the next orifice to transform its victim from the inside into a shark.

Another, rarely used method is a syntethic slime that is able to swim on water like a thin oil-film. Unlike the slugs, the slime does not move on itself and so the nariok use webs of it to protect their inner base from intruders, making it almost impossible to enter without turning into a shark.
