Loralisk and servant-snake

Looks like the Loralisks are going to win the race for this months refsheet!

Loralisks are a very rare species, probably just as rare as Doomwidows. Like the latter, these flying Naga-like creatures rather hide in ruins and old caves to study/experiment a lot.

A very popular childrens-story sais, that Loralisks kidnap evil persons to teach them obedience and kindness through turning them into one of their servants for 13 months (the number 13 sometimes differs in the tales tho).

It is told, they abduct their victims by entering a home through the chimney of the house, the snakes in their hair hypnotize the victim, making it impossible to fight back.

Loralisks hate the smell of lemongrass, which is why a lot of people have a little pouch of it hanging in their chimney.

Nontheless, it is not the best idea to confront a loralisk directely. Their hypnotizing gaze can easily break the will of their enemies, while contact with their sex turns the victim into an obedient, sucking snake-servant.

This can happen, but especially the rare races like doomwidows and Loralisks like to stay under the radar of the inquisition. Since their level iss too high to be turned into another race, its very likely they are either killed, brought to the narioks for research purpose, or trapped in one of the inquisitions crystal-prisons. Also, Loralisks for example only wake up once every few decades they are powerful for a few months, but often return to their sleep after their understanding of "balance" is restored.

One of the things that I always wonder about with these creatures is how they end up impacting the world around them from a living standards sort of way. What do villages that are in close proximity to one of these things do about it when they find themselves under threat? Do these creatures enjoy the power that their fearful presence grants? If one gathers too many slaves might they take over entire settlements?
