This time, I’m bringing you YSL’s Régine. When it comes to YSL, most people think of its iconic logo lettering heels the Opyum. However, since the Opyum pumps and sandals have already been made by other modders, I decided to go with another signature design element YSL has embraced in recent years—the shovel-shaped round-to-pointed toe, which makes the front of the foot looks longer.

Of course, when talking about this design, many might also think of another one of their lines—the JEANNE slingback with its metallic toe. Unfortunately, that style has also been done by other modders. So, I chose the Régine, which happens to be my preferred pump style.

YSL’s newer shoes feature a new font logo, and the insole now includes this circular metal logo design. The Régine’s stiletto heel is a flared stiletto, which I’ve attempted for the first time here. But its most distinctive feature is the anklet. Oh, and only the right foot’s anklet has a small YSL charm—the left one doesn’t. Weight-painting the anklet made me very painful and there might still be some weird deformation when the ankle rotates at extreme angles, but I’ve done my best.

The Régine’s upper is made of satin crepe, which seems tricky to replicate in KK. This time, I tried adding more texture to the normal map, and the result turned out okay.

BTW maybe only mules of Opyum is still remaining no exsiting mod. So if I make mules in the future, I might go for the Opyum mules.
