I really like the midway. Aila has this great way of telling a story with her backgrounds and putting a lot of fun things in there for people to look at. Like, who are these people? What's the deal with the hockey guy? Look at all those fun prizes!
The midway's background was a bit of a pain, actually. I soon realised that Naomi and Addy would be in the background, even if they were both on screen talking, which made no sense, so we had to whip up a second version without them in the background and switch to it any time either character was on screen. I mean, it seems obvious now, but we were actually only a month or two from release before I was like "Hang on a fuckin second, this makes no sense."
