Annaversary Wallpaper :D

One whole heckin' year ago today, Love Sucks Night One got released on Newgrounds. 

When I pressed the button to put the game onto Newgrounds, I was kinda terrified. We'd worked so hard, what if no one played it, and it got buried under all the other content? What if we had wasted our time and Aila and Frosto ended up heartbroken? But people played it, they liked it a bunch, and we released it on more websites, then made a Patreon and a Discord server before also managing to release the game on Steam. For Frosto especially, who has wanted to be a game developer his whole entire life, seeing his game go live on Steam, and having a community of people who like what he made is a dream come true and he's never been more proud of himself (or felt the pressure as much)

It's been tough sometimes, but when I look at our community and our Discord server, and think about how happy it makes me, how many cool and awesome people I've had the privilege to meet (even the weird ones) because of this little booby lewd game we're working on, I know for sure that it's all been worth all the hardships we overcame, and that it'll be worth all the struggles we've yet to face. 

I know it's not much, but to celebrate this little milestone of time, here are two high-resolution images from the update which you could use as desktop wallpapers, or use as a meme template for when Mermaid says something weird in the Discord.

Not only that, but Frosto has been busting his ass working, and Aila has somehow found the time to draw new art. We'll soon be releasing a small update to Night One, including more voice lines, more music, and a new scene with some more art. We're also hoping that releasing an update around Halloween time will help introduce some more people to our game, while we work on making the next part. It's taking longer than we hoped, life gets in the way sometimes, but we'll do it!

Anyway, I've said this tons of times in the past, but I mean it every single time.
