Ready for Re-start and some changes

Hello, my dear patrons.

 5 months has passed in a blink of an eye since the New Year started, and it has been 4 months since I’ve had my surgery. Thankfully my recovery has improved more than it has before.

 As I have surmised in the last update, I’ve taken the month of April to take a break and reorganize the future of this website. I’ve also promised to take this short break to catch up on the illustrations I’ve promised in the previous month’s pledges.

 Despite all of this time, I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart that continued to support me and the Patreon during this month. Because I’m so grateful, I wanted to put all my effort into providing everyone the best art, but in reality that’s just a fever dream that often disappoints me. At this point, it has become a vicious cycle of wanting to put time and effort into each illustrations but at the cost of being delayed over and over again, adding more pressure to continue this problem. 

 From the two illustrations for April, one is nearing completion and will be finished by the time this update has come up. And as promised in the previous announcement, this set will be uploaded for free for previous month’s patrons. 

 This introduction has gone on for long enough, there’s much to talk about this month’s update. As I have mentioned before, I've put this time of rest to think about the direction of this website for the comic and for all the fans.

About the comic

• “Killer Whale and Niterite” Chapter 5 will start on June.
• Starting from chapter 5, the comic will switch from black and white to color. You will be able to see a preview of how this new style will look with the upcoming collaboration comics with the other patreon artist I’ve promised previously on the month of March. 
• This is purely work in progress at the moment, but I’m currently in the process of planning merchandise and printed comics in the future. I’m thinking of adding a private internet shop for the new patreon tier members. 
• “Killer Whale and Niterite” Chapter 4 will be uploaded in its entirety in a single file soon.

About the membership 

• The options to pay an Annual membership has opened up, you will be able to save approximately 16% compared to the monthly membership. There are plans to send physical gifts for annual members, but more detail will be coming in next month’s update.
• There will be changes for the K-tier and N-tier memberships

-Everything related to commissions will be removed for both tiers.

-K-tier will be changed to focus on the comics. The month’s illustrations for supporter will be available on platforms such as Twitter and Pixiv with no charge.

-N-tier's benefits will continue. so There will be illustration plus pack for N-tier

• The new tier will have more benefits by paying through the annual membership, but this is still work in progress and wait for further updates in the future. 

About the merchandise

• I’m currently in the process of creating merchandise to be available to anyone around the world. This is a future project that won’t have real progress until 2021. 
• The physical book for “Killer Whale and Niterite” will definitely be available for purchase in Korean, English, and Japanese. 

About the month of May

• The schedule for May will be posted early next month. To quickly summarize, I will take the month to prepare for the next chapter and finally end the vicious cycle of drawing illustrations I mentioned before. 

This will conclude this long update post. I’m always grateful for everyone who has continued to support me on this site, even to those who can’t but still appreciate my work.

 안녕하세요, 후원자 분 들? 새로운 해가 시작된 지 얼마 되지도 않았는데 벌써 5개월이나 흘렀습니다.

이 말인 즉슨 제가 수술을 받은 지 어느새 4개월이 지났다는 의미죠. 다행히 요즘 들어서 꽤 건강을 되찾을 수 있었습니다.

 공지를 드렸듯이, 4월 한 달 간은 스스로를 돌보며 해야 할 일들을 정리하고 앞으로 나아갈 방향성에 대해 고민하며 휴식을 취했습니다.

동시에 올리지 못했던 일러스트의 업로드를 위해 그림에 다시 적응하는 시간을 가졌었고, 그래서 패트론은 잠정적으로 정지 상태였습니다.

 그럼에도 불구하고, 꾸준히 후원해주시는 분들이 계시다는 사실에 저는 어찌 할 바를 모를 정도로 깊이 감사함을 느낍니다. 저는 참 운이 좋은 그림쟁이 입니다. 

 사실, 그래서 더 굉장한 걸작을 제공하고 싶지만 그러지 못하는 현실적인 실력에 늘 고민이 매우 많답니다. 그러한 부담감이 일러스트에 대한 작업 의욕과 정신력에 영향을 끼쳐 언제나 늦어버리고 마는 악순환이 되어서 결국 저는 항상 여러분께 사과하고 죄송한 마음만이 가득합니다.

 그나마 두 일러스트 중 하나는 완성이 거의 다 되어서, 이 공지가 올라갈 때 즈음 마무리를 하고 업로드를 준비하고 있을 겁니다. 이미 공지를 했 듯이, 무료로 올라갈 예정입니다. 

 서론이 길었습니다. 이번 달은 공지하고 싶은 사항이 많습니다. 이미 말씀드렸다시피, 저는 4월 동안 만화와 만화의 팬 분 들을 위해 어떤 방향으로 나아가야 좋을지 이런저런 고민이 많았습니다. 이 방향성에 대해서 여러분들께 미리 말씀을 드리려고 합니다.

만화에 대하여

•  '킬러웨일 앤 나이트라이트'는 제 5화의 시리즈 시작은 6월 예정입니다.
• '킬러웨일 앤 나이트라이트'는 제 5화부터 톤 만화가 아닌, 컬러 만화로 진행됩니다.그 전에, 타 패트론 작가분과의 콜라보레이션 만화를 통해 'K&N'이 어떤 컨셉의 채색이 될지 미리 체감하실 수 있을 예정입니다.
• 만화에 대한 단행본과 여러 상품들을 계획중입니다. 어떤 방식으로 제공될지는 아직 미정입니다.
• 아마 새로운 티어, 혹은 패트론의 새로운 기능인 1년 맴버쉽, 인터넷 마켓등 다양한 방법을 고민중에 있습니다.
•  '킬러웨일 앤 나이트라이트' 제 4화 '어둠속으로'가 하나의 파일로 통합되어 업로드 될 예정입니다.

• 간략히 말씀드리자면 5월은 휴식을 끝마치고 다음 시리즈 준비를 위한 워밍업을 위한 한 달을 보내며, 일러스트가 밀리는 악순환을 끝 맺으려 합니다.

サポーターの方々、お久しぶりです。新年が訪れてもう5ヶ月も経ちました。

つまりは手術を受けてから4ヶ月の時間が流れたということですね。良かったことに最近は元の体調を取り戻しつつあります。

以前のお知らせ通り4月は体調に気を使いながら家や考えの整理が出来とても有意義に過ごせました。

同時に、イラストのリハビリも兼ねていてイラストが一時的にアップが止まっていた状態でした。

それにも関わらず支援を続けて頂けた方々が居られてどれだけ励みになったかわかりません。本当にありがとうございます。

私は恵まれていますね。その恩に答えようともっとすごい作品で応えたいのですが出来ない自身の実力に悩む日々です。

そんなジレンマにすり減ってしまいいつも遅刻するのもよくありませんよね、いつもすみませんでした。また新しいスタートを切ったと思って

これからもう一度頑張ります。

今回のイラストですが

2つの内１つは完成が近くて、アップに向けて最終調整を行っています。以前知らせました通り無料でアップ予定です。

導入が長くなってしまいました。少し多いですがこちらがこれからの予定です。

4月は漫画の方向性についても読者の方々にとってどちらがいいか悩んだ結果ですので喜んで頂けるならいいな

漫画について

• 　「キラーウェイル＆ナイトライト」シリーズ第5話のスタートは6月の予定です。
• 　「キラーウェイル＆ナイトライト」は5話からフルカラーで贈りします。フルカラーの彩色については他の作者さんとのコラボ漫画で事前に確認出来る様にする予定です。
• 　漫画の単行本やグッズについて現在計画中です。どの様に提供するかはまだ未定です。恐らく、新しいプランやパトロンの新しい機能である1年メンバーシップ、通販などの可能性が高いと思います。
• 　「キラーウェイル＆ナイトライト」第4話「闇に沈む」は各ページを1つのファイルに統合しアップ予定です。

メンバーシップの紹介

• 　新しく1年購読のプランを始めます。（Annual Memberships）最大16％の割引が適用されます。また1年購読プランに加入された方には実際に受け取り可能なグッズなどの商品が送られます。5月内にこちらに関する知らせをする予定です。

5月のスケジュールについて

• 　5月のスケジュールは5月はじめに別途知らせする予定です。
• 　5月には休息を終わらせて次のシリーズを始める前にリハビリで1ヶ月程頂きながら、イラスト遅延の悪循環を終わらせようと思います。
