March Scene Files

Hi guys and gals, 


Apologies for the delay on this scene. 


This is the second scene in to follow on from last months demo. 


The male in the scene is possessable, take control of the hands manually however. 

(the arms will function better without possession however, this is one of the technical hurdles i need to figure out as possess changes the hold status for the neck and shoulders which breaks the rig)


The finished scene will not have the debug buttons in place and poses will change cbased on interaction. 


You will see a opaque ball next to her hip, this can be moved to control the lower half of the males body, play with it and you will get the idea. This is a WIP concept and will also allow for flat screen interaction when done. 


If anyone is unhappy with the content, and annoyed they paid an extra month sub please feel free to issue a refund request which i will process no dramas. sorry again for the lateness.

thanks for your reply tho, i have to retest that checkbox, thanks for reminding me.

yeah thanks, im not sure if that checkbox saves with the .VAR however. last time i tested it didn't. And i like passenger, wasn;t working very well in this demo for some reason, so i took it out last minute. (that was the toggle button)

When you select the head-controlnode, there's a checkbox saying "On Possess Deactivate other Controllers listed here" (where those 'other controllers' are: Neck, Shoulders, Arms,Chest, Abdomen). Untick the checkbox, and those other controllers won't be affected when Head is possessed. Visual here -> https://imgur.com/5g18jFW Alternatively, you could use AcidBubbles' Passenger Plugin to achieve a kind of 'pseudo-possess': It moves the users' viewport to the eyes of the person the plugin is attached to. I also has some really nifty config-options, eg activation by hotkey, fine-tuning of position of the viewport relative to the head-controlnode and you can choose whether the viewport is slaved to the headnode, or whether it may control head movement.

Yeah, what BATTman78 said. Also, you've basically created your own school of "animation/interaction" - that alone would be reason enough to support you. Most scene creators these days work more or less exclusively within the VamDeluxe/Acidbubbles "keyframe concept" - which is great in its own way and very efficient, but ... it has its own limitations. You and WeebUR are immensly valuable for the community bcs with your unique styles, you keep alive & further develop other ways of doing stuff in VaM.
