Experimenting with pose driven animation
Added 2020-01-26 12:47:53 +0000 UTCI'm looking to find a pipeline to start to develop content fast. I really want to start exploring gamification and game loops within VAM.
I was looking around at different lewd content and came across Summertime Saga; really impressed with the volume of content. (May sound weird given the nature of my work here, but i've never really been into this sort of "game" porn before).
Anyway I noticed how there is actually very limited animation in a lot of lewd games and the story driven content is pretty interesting.
Anyway, here's something I put together this afternoon, it was pretty straight forward and I can see it could potentially be a really quick pipeline to bust out lots of content quick.

2020-01-28 21:18:14 +0000 UTCSince we can also reverse animations. would it be less tricky if say the mocap animations were broken into segments, like how your example scene is here? -Lay on table -idle -Sit up-->sit up idle -Move off table -Turn around -Turned around idle This is one method used for animating certain things in games, stuff that can be interrupted or directional changes, like fighting or AC style climbing. This might be a way to allow multiple outcomes or variations that can branch from each motion or lead into one another. I'm sure that there is a way to get mocap recorded through the use of the scripts, maybe the new vam time line can. I'd see bvh being more of an issue to use in this aspect.
