Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe there’s a service where they can track down your leaked content and take them down, I heard it from someone who has an only fans and is paying for this service so if their video ends up on pornhub they take it down.

While I certainly do not condone your work being stolen and/or leaked to site where you do not get compensated...if Flynn and Christoff had not been leaked to Pornhub, I would not be a current patron. I am a diamond level tier, and plan to be as long as you are creating. I am a strong advocated for downloads, because I like to be able to watch the videos wherever and whenever I was from my iPhone, without having to login to a website and scroll to find the post I want.

This is in no way an advocation for leaking. But many of the artists I follow I first found out about because their works were leaked or posted without their permission. I was then able to seek them out and support them. I know that's not what normally happens when someone enjoys content that was leaked. And it'd be better if people supported artists before leaks ever happened. But it is how I found out about a number of my favorite artists. I'm sorry it happened to you, truly. But I commend you for trying to make lemonade out of lemons.

Unfortunately leaking is and will be a problem for all independent creators. I never understood it, as the people who leak do not gain from it, but harm the artist behind. I am glad to read however that there are many people who took leaked content as a reason to support you - I think that's an absolutely great reaction. I guess that there is no real solution to that other than a bunch of lawyers screening the web and chasing the leakers, but it's costly, time consuming and can have a negative effect on your creative work. Also, watermarks can ruin the artwork, and videos can be cropped and cut before re-uploading as a workaround. Xtoon, I think your approach with sharing previews via Social Media is a great way to gain supporters for your great work - this is how I found out about you. And a true supporter will see the real benefits of a subscription: Being closer to the artist, having a say through polls what should come next, maybe give-aways, new ideas, etc. I'm happy to support you and enjoy to be the first to receive your art in the highest quality possible 😊

To be honest leaks are what leads me to Patreon artists to support. I usually find work I like and then go to support the artist. Not everyone is like that, but they were never really your customers to begin with...

Is there any kind of hosting site that might render a personalized watermark on the video with the user's name or something so you would easily know who to block from your patreon? I've seen something like that for comics/images in the past but it definitely would be more difficult for video. Unfortunately with the way the internet is everything is going to get leaked and fighting it is usually a lot more trouble than it's worth. I personally don't mind having to watch through vimeo but I understand why people would be disappointed. Whatever you decide to do, I'll stay subscribed. I support creators because I like the work they do, not just to get something in return.

Someone can film from the screen. I think we have to look at leaks differently. The question here is, if you stop supporting me because of the leaks, I will not be able to move on. But if you continue to support me, I will go further and further.

Leaking patreon rewards sure sucks. I'm really sorry that you have to face that problem. I think I came across one of your recent animations recently on a porn site which I reported. I hope it doesn't affect you too much, but the idea of making goals for your projectssounds like a good idea!
