We just got back from a great but hectic weekend to Wrocław. Wrocław is one of the art centres in Poland, plenty of photographers and models there too.

We drove down from Jarocin on Saturday and came back this morning. On Saturday Łucasz Spychała and his girlfriend, Lisia Dama came over to our AirBNB. I shot Lisia while Łucasz shot Aurora. At the end I photographed Lisia and Aurora together. Some great pictures coming from this. I used a fair of film, 4 rolls of 120 I think, so I'm looking forward to seeing these.

It's interesting to note that heaps of people shoot film in Poland. There are whole Pleners dedicated to it that happen regularly. A Plener is an event where models and photographers go somewhere for a weekend and shoot TFP.

On Sunday, Aurora worked with Monika Cichoszewska, the Collodion woman of Poland. She came back to the BNB at midday with Monika and Aurora and I shot Kamila Fornalik. After that, I went back to Monika's studio with Aurora and Monika to watch her doing her wet plate process.

It was awesome to watch the whole process, even as far as getting in the back of her darkroom-converted van with her to process the glass plates. The whole process, and especially the results made me feel inadequate for using a digital camera. This is photography in it's purest form. Magic.
