Audrey’s perfect hands shook with a constant tremor as she picked up the present from Vanessa off the table for closer inspection. Her mind was awash with turmoil, unsure of how to even approach the object in her hands. Curiosity demanded that she open it immediately, that even if it was a mere parting gift from the only other supergirl in existence, it could be worth her while. But Audrey was still burned after Vanessa’s abandonment of their friendship and that made opening this gift the last thing she wanted to do.
She put the present back down on the counter. Now was simply not the time. Maybe there would never be a time.
Maybe she should just throw the whole thing in the goddamned trash.

Brian was rudely awoken from deep slumber to the sound of his phone ringing. Once he was up, however, he didn’t immediately answer his phone. He too was surprised by the sudden change in surroundings, taking a moment to ponder if his experience in the offshore government prison was all a dream or some sort of trauma response to the stress of college and having a superpowered girlfriend.
He thought of letting the phone go to voicemail, but upon seeing who was calling him, he picked up right on the last possible ring.
“Audrey? Is that really you?” he asked, sounding somewhat delusional. But he could’ve been speaking an entirely different language and Aubrey would’ve been delighted to hear his voice regardless.
“Yep, babe! It’s really me! Really really! I-I was so worried you wouldn’t pick up when I heard the phone, but then I got to thinking that if Vanessa bothered bringing me back to college, then she definitely would’ve brought you back, but then the dial tone rang for a while, and my brain was split between your phone being dead or maybe you were dead in the transition but then you actually answered and then…” she paused, giggling tiredly as she realized she was rambling. “Jesus, I’m just glad it's finally all over, you know?”
Brian found himself chuckling as well, the absurdity of the last few days—or however long it had been—was enough for a whole lifetime. “You’re telling me! Did you just wake up in your dorm? Is the ship home the last place you remember being?”
“Yeah it is! Though I already woke up a few minutes ago. Did Vanessa leave a present for you as well?”
“Did she… leave you a present?” Brian replied with confusion.
“Yes she did, but I haven’t opened it yet…” Audrey said, hesitation obvious in her voice. “ It’s not—I guess I’m still a little sour about her right now. I’m not sure I’m ready to open it, now or ever really.”
There was a pregnant pause, then Brian responded. “Well, she didn’t leave me a present, Audrey. Which honestly only makes this whole situation stranger.”
“Yeah, tell me about it. She left me one but not you? Between the two of us, she clearly values you more as an asset. If there’s anyone she’d be trying to stay in the good graces of with a wake-up gift, it would be you.”
“Well, maybe it’s an apology gift for all her bitchy behavior?” Brian hypothesized optimistically. “Y’know, like, a gift card to Sephora or something? A spa trip?”
Audrey’s hypothesis was less optimistic. “Yeah or maybe it’s a bomb to take me out. She knows after all this I would be desperate to rekindle it and open up the present only to be treated to a rather explosive ‘no.’”
“And why would she spend all that time returning you to your dorm if it was just to blow you up with a present? She could’ve just left you out in the middle of the ocean as soon as you fell asleep on the ship!”
Now it was Audrey’s turn to take a pregnant pause. Brian had made a salient point there. “Look, I— I don’t want to talk about this anymore. I just want you in my arms right now.”
“Yeah sure! That sounds like a plan!” Brian’s beaming smile was practically heard over the phone. “Where are you right now? We could meet up halfway!”
“...Outside your door, actually. In fact, I’ve been standing outside for half the call. I thought it would take me longer to walk to your dorm room but sometimes my strides these days surprise even me!” Audrey replied, and a knock on Brian’s door confirmed it.
The blonde practically tackled her boyfriend the second he opened the door. She peppered him with kisses, her impossibly buxom body smothering Brian in absence-defining love. Even as the lesser of two superwomen, Audrey’s form was overwhelmingly present—her excited heartbeat pounding in Brian’s ear even when muffled with pounds of supple breast flesh. Audrey literally carried her partner all the way to the bed, not even breaking a sweat in the process. She needed him. Now.
The walk to the bedroom was not the only process Audrey was willing to bypass entirely, as her eagerness forwent the need for any foreplay, literally ripping the clothes off of her skin without a care in the world for their price or her dignity.
Brian pinched her nipples, feeling electricity surge into his already aroused body. Her arousal glands were also affecting him! And arousing it was. All the excitement had her hands unconsciously drifting lower along her firm curves, down her taut stomach, arriving at her suddenly dripping sex, where she began to vigorously finger herself.
Being under a girl as powerful as Audrey while her better judgment was lost to erotic pleasure was quite the harrowingly hot experience for someone like Brian. Each rub of her hyperactive sex seemed to shake the whole room in tandem with her tempo, a growing worry that not even the long standing infrastructure of the campus would be able to withstand her lustful endeavors. Her body heat felt borderline radioactive as she grinded against the tent in Brian’s pants like a campsite hurricane. Thankfully, she seemed to be winding down…
Then Brian’s bed broke from the sheer power of Audrey.
The real wake up call for her was when a chunk of plaster cracked and fell from the ceiling. Now out of her sexual hyperfixation, Audrey’s advanced hearing quickly picked up on Brian’s dorm neighbors commenting on what they speculated to be some sort of construction procedure gone awry or even an earthquake.
Audrey giggled, though attempted to stifle her laughter out of guilt, fearing repercussions even though no one would have suspected it was her.
“Jeez, I didn’t think I’d get so carried away like that… you haven’t even penetrated me yet and I’m already a sweaty mess and the bed is broken!” the blonde lamented, frightened that she had killed the vibe.
“Oh, I think you’re hot as hell regardless,” Brian reassured. “Besides, my roommate’s bed is right there, and it looks pretty unbroken to me.~”
Audrey’s face lit up as her cheeks burned a bright red.

By the time Brian came to from his sex coma, his roommate had just given up attempting to get any answers out of him. Brian’s roommate was quick to adopt a more friendly and less judgemental tone when Audrey in a fit of rage tossed her part of the covers aside and stood up to confront the roommate, seemingly without a care in the world that she was still in the nude. Having a girl who easily put every supermodel to shame and stood a few inches taller than the lanky man was enough to leave him completely awestruck, his mind caught in a loop of looking at her body, becoming transfixed, shaking off the feeling only to become transfixed all over again.
Even though Audrey had neglected to say anything for the last minute or so, Brian’s roommate threw his hands up in defeat, simply said “alright, lady, you win fair and square,” and left right back out the door where he came from.
Pfft, he’s lucky it was just me. Audrey thought to herself. If that was an encounter with Vanessa, that poor bastard would be hanged from a pike for crossing the raven-haired bombshell with a pissy attitude like that.
Now she was thinking about Vanessa again.
And now she needed to not do that.
Attempting to drown her sorrows in cuddles from Brian, she leapt back into the bed, this time snapping all four of its legs on impact. But she didn’t care. The bed was comfy enough and she knew that Brian loved to use her abs as a second mattress, legs as a blanket and her breasts as plush pillows to bury his head within.
“Mmm. This is right. This is where I belong,” Audrey mentioned sleepily, nuzzling her face into Brian’s like a needy pet who also happened to have him in an inescapable bear hug.
“And what about class? I’m pretty sure you’ve got to get a headstart on some assignments since you’ve probably been MIA for the last three days or so, right?”
“Naaaahhhhh… not to worryyyyy…” she sleepily clarified. “I’m passing all my classes and there was that Government hold on the school when they arrived for Guiles.
Now Brian was the one who felt irrationally worried. Giles was still out there. Probably biding his time, waiting to attack when he least expected it. The constant panopticon-like existence of the professor would surely haunt him for a while…
…But then again, he knew Audrey would protect him.
“Anyways, there’s nothing you can say that will change my mind. I absolutely cannot leave this room under any circumstances,” Audrey added playfully, adopting the tone of a stuck up scientist who spoke very formally and clinically.
“Oh and why’s that, babe?
“I tore all my clothes to shreds. Unless you actually want to run to my dorm and pick up some more, missing out on this sweet, sweet embrace, Brian…” she cooed playfully, a devious smile spreading to both sides of her face. She already knew what his answer would be.
