My artist and I are working hard to get the LBA update out before the end of the year (right now, it’s looking challenging but not impossible) I wanted to share a sneak peek of what’s coming in the next update.
And yes, this is done using a lot of AI as reference. I’m sharing this mainly because I know that AI-generated content can be a concern for some people, so I wanted to be upfront about it to avoid any surprises later. We'll be using a good amount of AI—not sure exactly how much yet, but at least enough to make the game’s sprites look more "professional" and less simple compared to Koikatsu's default look.

I'll have to see the final result to give my opinion. But if the work doesn't rely entirely on AI to produce the art and still manages to be expressive, I don't see a problem.
