Piece of Love

Geoff was beginning to think his optimism wasn’t doing much to help Olivia’s sulking. They had been sitting at the diner for the past five hours now, but the mood became quite the downer one just five minutes ago. It was a close mayoral election, being watched on TV by most of the city in diners such as this, but it was clear that Olivia didn’t win.
Her opponent was Emily Kagan, a woman nearly twenty years older than her who was ridiculously Catholic. Geoff and especially Olivia knew that if Emily were to win, she’d set civil rights back a decade. And yet here they were, the nightmare scenario.
“Look, it was a close election, that’s gotta mean something, right? You-Uh-You’ll definitely win next time!”
Olivia didn’t respond. She hadn’t said anything since the reveal now six minutes ago. All she could do was stare down at the table with a sullen expression. The only movement made by her was to wipe the tears off of her glasses that she had set down on the table several moments ago.
Then, without warning, she sat up and made a b-line for the exit. Geoff got up immediately after and followed her worriedly, but she retreated her head from him when he got close.
“C-c’mon now, Olivia! Don’t leave me here! We started this together and we’re gonna continue it together, right?” That got her attention. She turned to face her boyfriend of three years only to bury her face in his chest and sob loudly. It was easy due to her being rather short and chubby in stature, but her forcefulness always caught Geoff off-guard. She really didn’t know her own strength sometimes.
The crying continued, and Geoff tried his best to console her. “Shhh... shhh... it’s okay...” He rubbed her back lovingly. “Things can only go up from here. I swear on it.”
But, as if karma had it out for him, things did get worse. His phone pinged him a notification. At first, he didn’t look at it. Comforting Olivia was more important. But when he noticed a few others nearby pull out their phones for a notification around the same time, he was beginning to get worried. Even more so when they all seemed to react with shock and discomfort.
With Olivia still buried in his chest, he snuck a look at his phone.
“BREAKING: THE HUMAN STAR HAS PERISHED IN BATTLE.”
Geoff’s eyes widened. He resisted the urge to scream aloud. First the election, now his favorite superhero. Both gone just ten minutes apart from each other.
He knew what would happen next; his grandfather had told him what had happened the last time the human star had fallen in battle. There would be a mad dash for his replacement at first. When he died sixty years ago, the human star split into two star pieces. It was something straight out of a Japanese RPG, those who got both pieces became the unstoppable force that (at least so far) fought on the side of good around the world. But now that force was gone and the world was flung into uncertainty. Olivia was already under so much stress and Geoff knew he couldn’t put that news on her.
“How about a walk, O?” He offered sweetly, turning his gaze downward at his sniffling girlfriend. She looked up at him with watery eyes, taking a second to properly respond. She then nodded softly without any accompanying words, and that’s all Geoff needed to hear.
He took her to a secluded area in a nearby park. It was late out, so they were the only ones walking about; and Geoff liked it that way. With no interruptions, he could do what he did best: making her laugh. He started with some simple jabs at himself, take her mind off of what was making her sad. Then, when she was least expecting it, hit her with some callback jokes. Pretty soon, she was engaged in discussion and had a constant smile on her face.
A little while later, they were sitting on a bench, sensually making out without a care in the world. Geoff knew that no one would drop in, but he didn’t particularly care. Nothing could ruin this moment for him.
And then, something ruined the moment for them.
There was an ear-bursting BANG and Geoff was sent flying five meters away only to land face-down on the wet ground. His nerves were shot and his sense of direction was fried. He got up to his knees only to fall back down on his face.
“Geoff... Geoff...” It was Olivia. Her weak voice was calling out to him over and over again. He pulled himself back up onto his knees and slowly shuffled his way over to the sound of her voice.
His vision was blurry, but he could still make out her brown skin and blue shirt amongst the debris. As his eyesight corrected, the surrounding area looked more and more like a meteorite impact sight. But none of that mattered. All of his focus was on his girlfriend.
Thankfully, Olivia wasn’t wounded too badly. She had some cuts and gnashes but she was mostly just in shock.
“Olivia! Olivia! Are y-you okay!?”
“Jesus, Geoff... what the hell happened?...” Olivia blinked a few times, reality settling back in for her.
“I… I don’t know. I think w-we almost got hit by a meteor or something.”
Olivia groaned and rubbed her head. She looked like she was about to cry.
“Geoff... can we go home please? I... I want to go home.”
But something else caught Geoff’s eye. He was looking over to something shiny about a foot away. He hadn’t even noticed it earlier, it... almost looked familiar to him.
It was a piece of the human star.
“Ugh, Geoff, did you hear me? I said I wanted to go h- wh-what is that?”
He grasped it into his hands tenderly holding it like a child. The powers of a superhero: super-speed, flight, super-strength, the works.
“It’s a piece of the human star, Olivia.”
“Th-the human star? But how is that possible? Do you think he-?”
Geoff picked up the piece and turned to face Olivia with a guilty expression. She pieced the rest together pretty quickly after that. Thankfully, she understood why he hadn’t told her initially.
“Olivia, do you know what this means!? It means I could harness the power of it and use it to solve all sorts of problems in our lives!”
“Yeah, that... that sounds great, Geoff...” Olivia said with drifting eyes.
“Something wrong, O?”
“N-no... it’s just, well... I’ve kinda always wanted to wield that power, y’know?”
Geoff puffed up his cheeks and exhaled, realizing the pickle he was in.
“Look, Olivia... you know I love you to death, but... I did find it first.”
“Pleeeese!? Pretty please? C’mon Geoff, you know I rarely ask you for anything ever!”
“Well, I-“
“And you know I’ve had a really rough day too!”
“Yeah, but-“
“C’mon Geoff! It would make me the happiest girlfriend in the world!”
He stopped his attempts at flimsy rebuttals and took a long, hard look at the piece in his hand. His mind was raging with debate. Olivia was right, she had been through a lot today, and all Geoff ever wanted was to make his girlfriend happy.
With a drooped head and a reluctant sigh, Geoff took two steps forward and thrust his hand out in an exaggerated motion. He put the crystalline down into Olivia’s palm with a passive smile on his face before stepping back into place.
“There, it’s all yours, O.”
Olivia looked down at the piece and could hardly contain her dorky giddiness that followed. She then zipped forward to meet Geoff with a crushing hug. The poor guy was already beginning to regret his decision, if her hugs were too much now, imagining Olivia with the strength of the Human Star was scaring him more than it should.
“So are you gonna do it here or-“
Before he could finish his inquiry, Olivia’s body erupted into pure light and began to float upwards into the sky. It was so bright Geoff had to physically avert his eyes, almost as if he was staring directly at the sun.
After just ten seconds, the light faded. Yet Geoff still was not willing to look, afraid of what he might see. But he didn’t have to look. A reassuring hand placed itself upon his shoulder, and he already felt safer somehow.
“Geoff...” it was unmistakably Olivia’s voice, but it almost had a heavenly tone to it. Geoff finally mustered up the courage to move his head.
When he looked up, he couldn’t believe his eyes. There was Olivia, same as always, but she was floating in midair. It was as if there was an invisible bench right in front of him that she was laying on. But Geoff couldn’t even bring himself to be weirded out by it. He was too captivated by her beautiful smile.
Still, the least he could do was ask if she was okay, to which she responded with a kiss to his nose.
He began to tear up. Geoff wasn’t the type of guy to get emotional in front of his girlfriend, but he couldn’t contain himself and he didn’t really want to. He awkwardly hugged her from her floating position, noting that despite her not standing on anything, he was unable to make her budge.
“So, you still wanna go home? Save the world or something?
“Actually, I’d like to finish this lovely walk we were having.”
~
“So... you have powers now.”
“Yup.”
“Like, actual superhero-superpowered-powers.”
“Yes sir.”
“I guess that would make you the first bl-Uh... woman of color to become a superhero, huh?”
Olivia shot Geoff a funny look. She could tell that he was afraid of insulting her for fear of repercussion, and was choosing his words more carefully now. A self-satisfied smug smile curled upon her lips as the though resonated within her.
There was a moment of silence.
“Did you notice your glasses are cracked?”
Geoff was just trying to make conversation at this point, yet surprisingly, Olivia didn’t realize they were. It was only after she removed them from her face and looked upon them from a distance that she noticed the large crack amongst her left lens.
“Huh. I guess I don’t need glasses anymore...”
“Well, if you ask me, I think you should keep them. They’ve always made your face cuter.”
“Wow, that’s the most convincing argument you could think of, Geoff?” Olivia said in a goofy, sarcastic way.
“You got a better one? I was originally thinking something along the lines of: ‘keep them so you could see the panicked look on Emily Kagan’s face when she realizes her political opponent is a freaking superhero!’ But that wouldn’t make much sense considering how well your eyesight probably is now.”
That brought Emily back onto Olivia’s mind.
“Say, Geoff, you wanna pay Ms. Kagan a little visit?”
Her boyfriend’s eyes widened.
“You don’t mean...”
“Oh, I ‘mean.’”
His emotional response seemed nervous at first, but a devilish smile growing on both of their faces confirmed that they shared the same train of thought.
The flight to Emily’s house was a short one, yet Geoff was screaming like a child the entire way. Thankfully, being 5,000 feet in the air kept the trip relatively stealthy.
With Olivia in position, it was time to scare the shit out of her political opponent.
~
Emily Kagan awoke to a rather chilly draft wafting over her exposed shoulders. A shiver up her spine forced her tired eyes open, slowly perusing her side of the room for a potential source. When her line of sight produced no results, she flopped her body over with great effort to ask her husband what was going on. He was notorious for leaving the screen door to the back yard open, which was on his side of the room.
However, he was absent from his bed. Probably out drinking again, as he often did. Emily sighed. One of these days she’d rat him out to the priest of their church, but not today.
But a glance past where his slumbering body would have been confirmed the source of the chill. Sure enough, the screen door was opened.
Emily grumbled to herself as she forced her aging body to exit the warmth of the covers. Walking around the bed, she endured the chills of the night as she shuffled towards the door. But once she peered beyond the glass, she fell backwards in surprise.
The lawn was several hundred meters lower than she remembered. The whole world was, in fact.
Her entire house was floating in midair.
And then it started to fall.
Emily began to panic as she felt her body lifting off the floor as the rest of the world got closer and closer to her. She closed her eyes and braced for a hard impact, but such an event never occurred. From a curled up position, an open eye glancing around in fear was the only movement present from the future mayor. The streetlights that had returned to the screen door cast a shadow upon a triumphant silhouette before her.
“W-who are you… wh-what just happened?” The confused older woman shouted in between heavy breathing. She couldn’t quite make heads or tails of the situation, that was until Geoff turned on the lights and the two of their faces were illuminated for her to see.
“We’re here to give you a little congratulations for your victory tonight,” Olivia spoke, her words oozing with self-satisfactory sarcasm.
She picked up Emily’s entire body by the hem of her tank top, lifting her up into the air with no effort expelled on her part. Due to Olivia’s shorter stature, she lifted herself off of the ground a few inches. The scene was like a renaissance painting, with Emily gripping at Olivia’s arms in resistance, only for her frugal effort to have no effect.
“Let’s see if the people’s minds will be swayed by the new Human Star in town.”
“So, you’re the one who got access to his flight and strength. Interesting.” Emily’s entire tone had changed from one of fear to subdued gleeful excitement, leaving both Olivia and Geoff confused as to what could possibly be going through the woman’s head.
“That means the shard I was left with possessed the one power most forget about, but one that will most certainly help me out in this scenario!”
Before either of the younger individuals in the room could process the full gravity of that statement, Emily’s hands began to glow. The radiant shine blinded Olivia and Geoff, yet even through their eyelids they could tell that such brightness was only increasing in intensity. That was because the light was spreading up Emily’s arms as well as onto Olivia’s wrists. When Geoff opened his eyes to a squint, both woman’s bodies had become pure light only shaped into the bodies of the two of them. Then, both light constructs began to merge into one entity. One significantly larger entity.
Once the light finally faded and Geoff’s eyes had a chance to adjust to the new light level, his jaw dropped at the sight before him.
Olivia and Emily were no more. Instead, a musclebound, seven foot tall woman stood in their place. She wore Olivia’s pants and Emily’s tank top, both of which were rather tight on her sculpted form that would make the greek gods blush. Her skin tone was a mocha blend of the two, as was her age, taking Olivia’s age of 30 and Emily’s age of 53 to make a woman who looked to be in her early forties.
She looked down upon the cowering, terrified Geoff. Her lips curled into a devious smile.
“Geoff, is it?” The woman asked, her erotic voice echoing the room, it a sensual smoothie of both Olivia and Emily’s voices cooing in unison. “I’ve got all of Olivia’s precious memories in here…” she lightly tapped her head twice with a slender, perfectly manicured finger. “…and I’m not planning on giving them back any time soon.”
This wasn’t good. This was really bad, in fact. It seemed as thought Emily was in full control of this powerful, new woman that floated a foot above the ground before him.
She let her body drop to the ground, her toes cracking the wooden floor as she landed, further startling Geoff. He scrambled backwards on hands and feet as the woman slowly strutted towards him, letting her massive G-cups sway back and forth as she put one perfectly-sloped foot before the other. It wasn’t long before Geoff hit the wall and the woman was standing over him imposingly. Her arm left her side, rising up until it converted the action into a quick flex of the bicep. Sleek, feminine muscle blocked out the ceiling light behind her, cascading her arm muscles in a heavenly halo of light.
“I’m going to bring a new order to this world. Don’t think you can stop me, little man.”
Geoff cowered even further into a ball, mimicking Emily from earlier. He just wished for this nightmare to be over, the cruel mistress simply laughed at him.
“You’re so pathetic, Geoff. You remind me of my husband.”
However, after she spoke those words, her conniving smile began to falter and her eyes became distant. It was as if a great revelation had washed over her body, shaking her foundation to its very core. As if the scene could not be surreal enough, the hulking woman before him let a single, solitary tear drip down her gorgeous face.
“O-oh my god… sh-she’s right…” the woman suddenly spoke, her despondent expression filling with sadness. “I-I have been letting my husband abuse and take advantage of me for all this time. Even in modern day America, this really can be a cruel world towards the women living in it.”
She put a hand to her head and bent forward, distraught about the information that was stewing around in her head. It almost looked like she was about to have a panic attack. She seemed to literally be two minds about her own thoughts.
Then, her breathing began to calm itself as a pink blush overcame her cheeks. Soft yet potent moans escaped her mouth, ruminating to a rhythm as her body humped the air.
The light from earlier returned, engulfing the entirety of the larger woman from her shapely legs to her perky breasts. Her body slowly split back into two, although they still seemed to be merged at the lips.
But then, the light faded and Geoff was exposed to the truth. His girlfriend and his political adversary weren’t fused at the lips, but consensually making out. The sounds of their individual moans were interrupted over and over again by their lips smacking together, a passionate display of their unexpected love for each other.
Geoff looked at the two of them with the most confused expression he had ever formed in his life. “Um, I’m sorry for sounding so forwards about this, but what the fuck is going on!?”
“It’s simple, Geoff,” Olivia responded, parting her lips from Emily’s. “We just needed to spend some time in each other’s heads to understand each other better.”
“It’s true,” Emily added. “I now understand that those ‘evil colleges’ that Olivia attended I used to fear monger about were actually the key to my happiness.”
“Also, I think we both realized we’re bi.”
“Oh yes, that too.”
“So… what does this mean going forward?” Geoff added, a confused mix of concern and adulation present on his face.
“Well, I’ve most certainly still won the election…” Emily began, bedroom eyes staring down the only man in the room. “But I think I’ll ditch my current cabinet in favor of some of Olivia’s picks.” Those half-lidded eyes then reserved themselves for the woman she was caressing sensually.
“Well, that too, but I kinda meant that question as one directed towards me and Olivia’s relationship.”
Olivia giggled. “Let’s just say that Mormonism doesn’t exactly conflict with my polyamorous beliefs.” She held out her hand for Geoff to take. “C’mon babe, get in here and join the circle of love.”
“Ooh, I concur,” Emily added with a sultry purr in her voice. “You’re certainly more of a man than my husband ever was. Perhaps all three of us could tell him to get lost. I don’t think he’d mess with us if we brought out Emilivia.”
“E-Emilivia?”
“It’s the name we both consciously agreed upon for that muscular, sexy lady we fused into,” Olivia clarified. “If we ever start doing hero work as her, it’s a far preferable name than the Human Star.”
“Y’know, maybe we should turn into Emilivia again,” Emily suggested, turning back to Olivia and resting their foreheads together. “Geoff’s last experience with her was rather, well, traumatic. Perhaps we should give him a better memory to end the night on, hmm?”
“I couldn’t agree more, my love,” Olivia responded.
And with that, the light erupted from both of their bodies simultaneously. Being fused had clearly divided the powers of the shards up evenly between the two of them. With both of them activating the light within, they could share control over Emilivia evenly.
When the light faded, Emilivia yanked Geoff up off the ground and tossed him onto the bed. Her muscular form was atop him in a flash, peppering him with kisses as the two women that made one worked together to make a night all three of them would remember.
“I can’t wait to feel you inside of me,” Emilivia spoke in a husky voice, only enhanced by her doublespeak. “Inside both of us at once.”
She ripped his clothes off in a singular yank before doing the same to her own. With two minds working in conjunction, twice the actions could be preformed to make the processes of lovemaking run as smoothly as possible.
She inserted Geoff into herself and began to ride him, her hulking form hunched atop him like a wild animal. Geoff gripped at whatever he could, but it was inconsequential. Emilivia had him under her control, pinning him with just a single hand.
The pleasure was overwhelming, he didn’t last long. Geoff was quick to spend his load, but Emilivia continued, now deriving pleasure from the two women within her stimulating each other.
By the time the sun had risen in the morning, the three of them were thoroughly exhausted, yet had never been happier. The polycule of once-confused political rivals had now found enlightening harmony through lovemaking and were eager to share it with the rest of the world.
