8-10-24 Progress Update and Art Preview

This week, we made steady progress on the art and script for the big PAD event. We're still thinking about the best way to share progress with you without spoilers, and one thing we can do is list the number of tasks completed and left on our Trello board, so that you can very numerically track how close we are to a release. We're going to spend this week cleaning it up so that we can start those reports next time. For right now, please enjoy the spoiler-free sketch of one of the new characters attached at the bottom of this post!

We've also been discussing what to do regarding MC. None of the options are very appealing right now. It's possible that we'll just be putting the game down for now, possibly after another small update with the content that the artist did hand over before they disappeared. As you know, we have plenty of ideas for other games to make, and there was a clear favorite when we asked about some of them in the 4-year survey. Of course it takes a lot of legwork to begin a new project, so we need to make sure that that's the direction we want to go in as well. Just know that as a team, we're still committed to making quality content that we can all be proud of!
