12-18-20 Progress Update

Wow, that last public release really did us some good! We've crushed our $500 goal, and we're well on our way to the $600 one. What does that mean? We can afford to have our artist create backgrounds in the same style as the characters and scenes, as well as going back to replace older ones. It's not something that will happen all at once, but we think it'll make the game experience more coherent. The $600 goal is for background music, which is one of the biggest "requests" (a charitable way of saying "complaints") we get, so it's exciting to be closing in on that as well. As we move into next year, we'll be setting even more goals, keeping in mind the other "requests" we hear most often as well as the feedback collected from our surveys.

Now, what you're really here for: as correctly guessed on our Discord, the second girl will be...Aurora! Sleeping Beauty herself joins Park After Dark in January. How will her story play out? What will her personality be like? And, perhaps most importantly, how will Cindy feel about this?

All of our artwork is done, and there's just one more scene that needs to be written. The coding is maybe 75% now, which is close enough to officially announce the release dates. ...But we're going to wait for the next public news post to do that, just so we can get everybody excited for it at the same time.
