Top 5: Salute - she flowed very well and was on beat. She sounded like migos on here. This my shit Hello - love the pre chorus - "I'm turned up at the party. I'm geekin out my body" Pretty and Petty - She ate with the Bia diss. You could tell she had fun on this song. And I love Bia lol Errtime - Fire. Definitely Jeezy vibes just like Hello Killin You Hoes - Great closing track. Not counting Wap and Up. She was on beat well and loved the bars Other favorites are Magnet and Trophies. Also loved Pick it up. Chorus was catchy. I loved Better than you, it was another favorite but Cash Cobain completely ruined it The songs I didn't like were Bodega Baddie and Check Please. She sounded weird on Check please. She wasn't on beat or anything and it fell flat. Bodega Baddie should've been an interlude or something idk lol Love Summer Walker but didn't like her as a feature on Dead. She was barely on the song. Cardi might as well have been on the song by herself. But the better feature was Shower Tears. Loved Summer on that song.

My favorites were dead, pretty and petty, magnet, and errtime ( mostly for the drama) she cooked BIA and JT. I didn't really care for the slower songs, I get she wanted to address her relationship with offset but I didn't really keep any, they kinda bored me. Also Principal was a scam😂, why would she say Janet Jackson was on the song like it was a new feature

My opinion on Cardi music has always been the same for me since 2016. Raps slow = offbeat. Raps fast = gibberish. I can’t get into it 😫😫😫 Her features always go hard for me but her on an entire song is where my ears tap out.

Only song I can say I like is Trophies - however it took me two days to listen to this because of how bad most of the album was - she was struggling so bad to catch the beat or flow - like I genuinely think these songs are years old and just put onto her album without any re-recording. Her struggling with the beat and weak bars reminded me of that one video you reacted to of your subscriber reading a poem and it was so bad you burst out laughing 🤣🤣 for me the album is a 3/10 - good effort but I like my rap being about real bars and flow not no simp pick me mess 🤧

There’s a few good songs magnet, outside, pretty and petty, bodega baddie and up too much songs about offset when you’ve moved on. She wanted to discuss her love life she could have wrote and gave the song to summer to sing. Too much singing lizzo played in the studio too

It's definitely not what i expected it to be considering the hype, but these bodegas might run it up. Some of those songs could've been left out. But I'm glad there's some bops to bop to.

Overall she really tried to make invasion of privacy 2 but failed although songs like better than you without the cash cobain part and trophies really stood out to me but I just wish she had a collab with Doja cause that’s the only artist that knows how to rap and sing all together and not make a mess. But putting this out after almost 7 years; yeah no, she could have put this out 2-3 years after IOP and it would have been solid. Comparing it to PF2 since I see other people talking 😂 I think both Nicki and Cardi talk their sh*t in different ways but they both are FIRE when they are featured on other people’s songs. That is crazy to me because I’m always like “Damm you snapped on that song but couldn’t snap on your album.” PF2, I still listen to some songs from there but mostly because there is a pop element to it and I’m just in a pop music sound space but this album from Cardi, I’ll give it a 7/10. It’s a good body of work but it’s missing certain elements. The diss track that BIA put out against her, I’m not mad at Cardi responding 😂 but at the same time it’s like “Girl, you snapped but responded late” but it’s whatever and that’s one of the songs I saved because she did something there. 2025-09-20 18:29:41 +0000 UTCI have mixed feeling about this album the only song I personally didn’t care for bodega baddie (that song was all over the place ), salute, what goin on now and originally when imaginary playerz and outside it actually to me sound better with the album but it bc to me she did a good job putting these songs in order and the songs are kinda growing on me but to me for a rap female album it the best one I heard from awhile I did like a few songs from Glorila album from last year and Nicki Minaj pink Friday 2 album especially me being a Nicki fan I wouldn’t say I’m part of the barbz cult 😂 but I only like FTCU and Red ruby da sleeve I actually did like the summer walker collab I know everyone has different opinions bc like my sister she like you where she want to hear actual rapping so she wasn’t a fan of the summer walker but both me and her really enjoy that Tyla and Selena Gomez collab I will say I wish she had rapper on this album tho for example latto, glorilla and even that lizzo song that should been like a rap song and just hear lizzo rapping and then have possibly 2 male rapper 21 savage and Travis Scott but I will agree that some of the songs she kinda sound a little off beat you can definitely hear it when you have headphones on I will say overall it was a decent album for me I believe songs will be a grower for sure I’m curious what expressive has to say about this project as long she don’t be like you know what person she should have added is Chloe Bailey 😂😂😂 (jk) Ik she won’t said that but she always bring up the Bailey sister every chance she has

On the Janet song she mentioned that Janet Jackson had some pointers on the record, and she couldn’t use the sample without having Janet featured. Janet even decided to change the beat and a few other things, and she said she just let Janet do whatever she wanted to do. I was saying the same thing, the “Dead” song is morbid, but I love it lol. Then when I went back and watched the trailers she dropped before the album, they definitely gave scary movie vibes symbolizing a lot of death especially with the crows on the album cover and in the trailer.

But again for what I listen to female rap for (basically just at the gym) I think it does a great job, better than every other newer female rap album IMO. Honestly my fav track is On My Back with Lourdiz, she killedddd the chorus and the beat is crazy good with headphones. Cardi is shady for using Lourdiz because that’s the same little girl who Nicki used on Cowgirl on PF2 and that song was ass 💀💀

As for the two top female rappers, I must give it to Cardi B; she delivered her big moment. I hope this motivates Nicki Minaj to release a better album because, honestly, you can keep the last one. Outside of the Barbz, no one seems to be talking about that album. The amount of hilarious lines on this album, like “you girls look like turkeys,” is unbelievable! 😂

2025-09-20 15:02:00 +0000 UTCShe was talking about JT in magnet, but I’m bias (Barb), BUT I’m not hater, decent album I really expected a lot more, cause of prior songs and comparing it to a 7 year old album (IOP), I compared it to (IOP) to see If there were any actual growth, I say YES AND NO, lyrically yes, (but she don’t “write”) so idk, but her delivery on certain songs was great others weren’t, not a fan of singing especially when we never heard that before (Atlest me) Now with the flow, I believe when she was featured on others songs, she had something to go off of, compared to this she’s creating, but it’s up and down with certain songs. Overall though I give it a, 6/10 but knowing who I am 1 more listen will make it a 7 or 7.5 /10!!
