One thing I like so much about them is that they literally have no PR training, they just be saying and talking about anything. Their first like official live as a group they all asked if they were able to curse on live and when told no, they just started shouting out random curse words to get them out their systems before it started, whole time they were already live😭 they definitely got backlash for that though.

Hey Dee!!, The black girl who is manon sprained her ankle so she couldn't participate. The Indian girl who is lara, had a concussion during filming so she couldn’t dance in gameboy but she was in the video. They made her be the "player" in the video so she could still be in it without dancing.

to me, katseye are one of the few (k)pop groups (i put k in parentheses bc theyre not really korean but are signed to a korean company) that are actually much better live. like even the way they dance is more energetic. Given that few of the girls were minors or freshly 18 when the group got big i think they started with that teeny bop music. but from what ive seen they seem to be veering away from that.

Gnarly grew on me cause I didn't like it at first, although I like the version with Ice Spice. To me Gameboy, M.I.A. and Mean girls are their best songs (Touch and Debut are okay also). I didn't like Gabriela though.

Gnarly for me at first was like “what the fuck is this shit??” But tbh it was so trash that it became a bop for me 😂😂😂😂 the performance solidified it for me! My boyfriend hates the song though lol. They are very great performers.

The black girl (Manon) sprained her ankle. The Indian girl (Lara) had a concussion so she couldn’t dance, in gameboy. Their era before this one was very cutesy and I think Gameboy resembles that. But I think they are moving them away from that look bc it doesn’t really match the girls personality or style. They’re only a year old group and they are already eating down. Her name is Manon and I'm pretty sure she was injured during the Gabriella video, and Lara (the Indian girl) was supposed to dance in the Gameboy video, but she was injured at that time. they have a lot of injuries in that group

They are a bit kiddish esp performing the clean version of “Gnarly” at the Kids choice awards lol. Their last album SIS def leaned in the girly & playful side. But one of the members is underage, right now, Yoonchae, so they can’t go too far yet in the grown woman style, but their aesthetic is cute over all. I’ll be at the concert & the meet & greet lol.

the lyrics for gnarly are so unserious like why are we singing abt teslas and takis vndfkvnj I rlly thought u were gonna drag them😭 but yea their attitude and their performance is really what makes the song like I HATED it when it first came out but it grew on me over time.

i love this group!! their choreography and attitude is 100% their strongest pieces and i think musically they are heavily limited creatively. the girls don’t write their songs at all (correct me if i’m wrong) and i think they have done very limited producing and i think having better songs would set them up better for the future

Believe me, Dee. We was like "tf is that" when Gnarly first came out lmao But the girls made sure that their performance was enough to make up for the strange lyrics. Especially Daniela (the Latina one), girlie went viral for her facial expressions. Musically, they are lacking a bit but they just started so I'm excited to see what they do
