I think most people don't undestand the amount of work content creation really takes. Hey Dee I know this post was awhile ago but I am new. And this is also the first time for any creator I have signed up for a Patreon ever. I can relate to you on people telling you to hurry up. I used to work this job I hated and despite squeezing every drop of energy out of me, they would still complain that I'm moving too slow. I'll never forget that I once worked a 12 hour shift doing physical labor and the very first thing the manager said to me the next morning was " You played last night." Which means "you didn't do anything." SO, I'm sorry you experienced this. It hurts to work so hard and people treat you like that. I wish you the best. Can't wait to see what else is to come.

I've tragically seen so many (especially Black) content creators get put off or burnt out over time bc of this type of entitlement and parasocial relationships, so it's so refreshing to see people that contribute to that just be blocked, period.
