This one was interesting. The person wanted Zooey to wear a sweater and jeans to help focus solely on her feet. I obliged but it took a long while to graft a sweater and jeans to her. Thankfully, they were happy with my work and it may spring-up on their site eventually, but wanted to share it here too. I went hard on the mood. I wanted it to feel like Zooey has been waiting for you to get home, hence the candles and low lighting. I suppose it'll be winter in this shot because it's hotter than hell everywhere. Even put up some pictures to really make it feel like her pad. Made sure to include her sandals, instead of her slippers, on the bottom right. That was the commissioner's choice.
Anyway, I'll have an update for the Isabelle X Shantae animation later this week. I've not been feeling the best, so I've been just doing quick render commissions instead of animations. I'll be back to 100% in a few days. Thanks as always and any suggestions or comments put there below.
