Brits Try Popeyes For The First Time

To me, traditional British food just isn't good lmao. I'm from Scotland and I don't know why anyone would eat it. You can get some decent food in restaurants here that are from other cultures though, food that actually has some flavour and spice to it lol. I'm vegan though and I actually think it's pretty good for vegan food here and is getting better every year, I actually found it to be better for vegan food here than it was when I went to the US in 2014 so I guess it has that going for it at least. But I've never been to LA, I'd imagine LA is very good for vegan food.

Naah, y’all be going to the wrong places fam, London has some great street food places, great African food, Jamaican food, all kinds of Asian food and Arabic food. You’ll struggle finding good “American” food like bbq or fried chicken or other soul food, sure. Y’all gotta head to Brick Lane, Camden market, and places like that, idk where y’all be eating🤨

Next time any of yall go to Popeye's get some Cajun Sparkle and put it on your chicken. Easily the best seasoning. I personally get a bunch of packs and put it on other chicken as well lol.. Ghetto I know lol

No but for real, all I ever here from my friends who visit the UK is the food is trash. Black friends, white fiends, Asian friends, I’ve never had anyone say UK food be hittin like ever. And two of my best friends studied there for a year and both had nothing but terrible things to say about the food so I just wonder what’s going on?? Lmao

Nah, people be lying, London’s got hella Good food, you just gotta know Where to go. Haven’t been to London since they opened Popeyes, I was last there in September and they just opened. I heard from a friend with good taste that it wasn’t all that tho and I can imagine it not being as good as in the US. I love popeyes, it’s a must have whenever I go to the US, but Imma head to London sometime early next year probably and I’ll make sure to let y’all know lmao

It's always hard to trust other people's recommendations. With growing up in the UK then now living in the US. You find the things you like for yourself over time. Those tourist recommendations are a hit and miss unless you have a honest and non biased friend that you can trust to give you a good suggestion (That lives there). It's very difficult to find those good places and foods with only being there for a few days or weeks. I have so much more to try and see here in North America and look forward to it. :)
