Even when he gives a great lyrical performance in his verses, there's a "boring mood" overshadowing it. It affects his hooks too. But overall; not a bad album

Check out navy blues last album “Memoirs in Armour”, some of the most interesting and engaging production, with actual well written bars about his own growth and his journey with sobriety. Big Sean is talking about positive things but in a way that’s just very surface level imo
