Status update

At this moment I'm a bit uncertain about whether we can finish the job within Nov 2nd or not, so I guess I need to update our status for everyone who's waiting for v8. Right now we are in the debugging process, but the progress is slower than we anticipated because there is just too much new functional stuff in this update.
I think we still have a decent chance of releasing the update within the scheduled time, but please don't panic if we eventually go 1 or at most 2 days later than Nov 2nd. There will be an extra patron reward in November if we fail to release the update within 2nd.
I'm deeply sorry for the wait :(
