Sharing thought #6: Something about this update, and the next update.
Added 2020-01-19 17:56:55 +0000 UTCWas planning to release the update yesterday (01/18), but something unexpected truly happened. We found two serious bugs literally at the last second before publishing the update. They just came out from nowhere and they are so ridiculous that we didn't even know where to start fixing. We never felt so frustrated before.
Although these bugs are not yet fixed, you don't really need to worry about them during the game. We have made some covers to make sure that no one will be bothered by them. I will write another post for more details later because I think it's best to let you know what a weird issue we are facing.
Right now you've probably got the game and started playing. I hope you can enjoy it.
And here I'd like to share some of my thoughts and the plan for the future.
Personally, I am not satisfied with v0.4 update. I mean, I am proud of our work, but we could have done better if we have more time.
Before we started working on v0.4, we made a plan about what we want to achieve in this update:
1. Make the v0.3 saves compatible in v0.4
2. Furtherly improve the UI
3. Create more events & renders than the last update we did
4. Rework the gameplay completely and make it much more interesting than before
But due to the limit of time (6 weeks) and the interference from other issues (final exams, annual reports, the holidays), we completed the first three goals on the list, but only did a little work on the gameplay reworking.
We feel sorry to our supporters that we couldn't bring more new gameplay mechanics to you in this update. And I promise you that the gameplay rework will be done in v0.5. This game will move on to a new stage by the time when it is finished.

That literally blows my mind. How on earth could it have anything to do with Mega? And don't worry about the saving problem, if you are playing on PC, there is a patch in our discord channel. If you are playing on Android, we are uploading the fixed version on Mega & Workupload right now and you will be able to download it very soon

Although they are not fixed yet, we have made some covers to make sure that no one will be bothered by them. But right now some people have reported an issue about saving the game. You can wait till we fix it
