Naturalis v1.1-alpha8 Release

Hard limits on morphing

Implemented hard limits on the amount of breast morphing that can occur in the up, sideways and depth out directions. The limits are about 10% beyond the amount of morphing that naturally occurs with gravity at maximum softness.

This prevents morphs from being applied at values that they're not really designed for. One effect of this is that when you push the breast from below to lift it up, it'll "hit a wall" and stop deforming at some point, preventing a weird flattened shape that would otherwise happen due to extreme morph values.

This also automatically clamps the clothing morph offsets - e.g. if you have a lot of Y Morphs Offset producing a pushup effect, the overall amount of morphing that setting can result in will be capped to the amount of morphing due to gravity + 10%. This makes the morph offsets a bit more usable at high values.

Improved TittyMagic and BootyMagic preset management

The lower section of the main window now looks like this.

Naturalis.cs replaced with separate files

The Naturalis.cs file is split into separate "Auto-upgrade from TittyMagic 5.cs" and "Auto-update.cs" files, and the DLL can be loaded directly.

The Auto-update.cs file is used to update from an earlier Naturalis version on the atom to the current one. It can also be used to reload the plugin without losing the changes to plugin parameters, but generally it's probably better to save a temporary in-plugin preset and apply it reloading the plugin normally (because using the script changes the plugin number in the plugins list).

I probably don't have many items that people are using that should never show up  - if you find an item that you think I should add it to the list of automatically excluded items, let me know!

About morphs & v1.2

I played around with including additional morphs for tweaking the clothed shape, but ran into some problems. Firstly, the cleavage morph I created just wasn't very good, and I couldn't figure out a way to make it work better than the current morphs that get automatically applied with forces and morph offsets. So it just didn't make sense to include that morph.

The second problem was that any morph adjusted independently of the plugin's morphing system will cause that system to kick in and change the shape, making it pretty difficult to create a shape morph that actually works well with the morphing system.

So, given that the current force and morph offset based adjustments work well enough, I decided to move all clothing morph related stuff to v1.2. One of the main focuses of v1.2 will be improvements to the morphing system to make it more versatile and configurable, and that will involve also making the clothing morph system more configurable. For example, making rotation, movement and shape morphs separately adjustable in the general morphs tab would make it easy to expose offsets for them in the clothing profile.

There's also some other news when it comes to morphing - I've previously mentioned (months ago) that I've got someone helping me with custom morphs. I now finally got word from them that they've figured out a proper workflow for producing high quality VAM compatible morphs from scratch, and I got some samples to play with. I hope to make the most of this collaboration once I get to starting development on Naturalis v1.2. The aim with v1.2 is to bring the dynamic morph adjustments to the next level, improve realism significantly, and improve compatibility for different breast shapes/sizes/preferences.
